On a lively Saturday in London, Ellie Goulding was surrounded by her celebrity friends who hosted a delightful baby shower, celebrating her upcoming arrival with boyfriend Beau Minniear. The event marked a joyful anticipation of their first child together.

The 39-year-old singer, who is also a mother to four-year-old Arthur from her previous marriage to Caspar Jopling, enjoyed a spirited 1970s-themed party. The celebration, inspired by the retro comedy “Palm Royale” from Apple TV, provided a vibrant backdrop for the occasion.

Ellie was a vision in a pink Versace mini dress, perfectly accentuating her growing baby bump. She sported a quirky sash that humorously read “Preggs,” a playful nod to the popular high street bakery, Greggs.

The entertainment for the event was provided by the iconic boyband Blue, though Lee Ryan was notably absent. Ellie joined band members Duncan James, Simon Webbe, and Anthony Costa for a heartfelt performance of their hit song “Rise.”

Supermodel Brooks Nader, a close friend of Ellie’s, shared glimpses of the festivities on her Instagram Stories. She stunned in a 1970s-inspired ensemble featuring a flowing orange maxi dress and voluminous blonde hair, complementing the party’s theme.

She captioned the snap: ‘Don’t temp me with a theme!! Palm Royale takes London’ before posting a clip of Ellie’s impromptu perfomance saying: ‘Don’t bother inviting me to a baby shower if it ain’t this fun’.

The songstress, 39, who already shares four-year-old son Arthur with ex-husband Caspar Jopling, partied at a 1970s themed bash inspired by Apple TV’s retro comedy Palm Royale.

Guests were treated to a Palm Royale-themed cake that playfully declared “Prettiest girl in South Beach,” along with refreshing cans of Ellie’s own cocktail brand, Served. The event was a perfect blend of nostalgia, music, and camaraderie, setting a festive tone for Ellie’s new chapter.

Palm Royale is a comedy-drama that follows Maxine Dellacorte (Kristen Wiig) as she strives to break into the glamorous world of Palm Beach society. 

The cast also includes Alison Janney, Laura Dern, Ricky Martin, Kaia Gerber and Carol Burnett.

Ellie revealed her pregnancy as she walked the red carpet heavily pregnant at the Fashion Awards in early December. 

Since her relationship with Beau went public in September 2025, the pair have holidayed together in Italy, where Beau shared online an intimate photograph of Ellie lying in an unmade hotel room bed.

He also appears in several raunchy scenes in Ellie’s latest music video, Destiny.

It comes after reports that Ellie had split from her management team as she plans a musical comeback with her sixth studio album. 

Ahead of the currently untitled record’s release, Ellie, whose last album was 2023’s Higher Than Heaven, is believed to have parted ways with TaP late last year in a major shake-up.

Palm Royale is a comedy-drama that follows Maxine Dellacorte (Kristen Wiig, pictured) as she strives to break into the glamorous world of Palm Beach society.

The hitmaker signed with the firm in 2018 as she joined their star-studded roster alongside fellow chart-toppers Dua Lipa and Lana Del Ray.

A source told The Sun: ‘As she moves into the new year with a strong sense of clarity, she is focused on family first with her second child due in just a few weeks.

‘Ellie is an artist who is a proven hit machine and is one of the most important and unique voices that has come out of the UK.

Meanwhile a source told Daily Mail: ‘TaP resigned from working with Ellie on December 9th. They are proud of all they achieved together but after eight years felt it was in both sides’ interests to part company’.

Speaking about the upcoming album, Ellie told NYLON: ‘It had always been the goal to start this album, I didn’t know it was going to be a divorce album, but that’s the way it started heading.’ 

The singer exchanged vows with Caspar, the Harvard educated grandson of Conservative MP Michael Jopling, Baron Jopling, at Grade I listed York Minster in 2019. 

‘When I married my ex-husband, I thought it was for life. That will never go away,’ she said. ‘There are some songs that are necessary for me to acknowledge that time in my life and to be respectful of it. 

‘Then there were some songs that were extremely reactionary and sad that I felt were good to do in the moment but don’t serve me long-term.’
