Emma Weymouth, a prominent British socialite, was the latest contestant to bid farewell to Celebrity MasterChef on Thursday, and viewers noticed that she appeared visibly upset by her departure.
The 38-year-old, known as the Marchioness of Bath, exited the high-profile cooking contest just before the quarterfinals.
In the latest installment, she competed against a diverse lineup including singer, actor, and presenter Jake Quickenden, actor Tamer Hassan, and comedian Jamie MacDonald.
Despite her efforts in the trio of challenging kitchen tasks, Emma did not manage to captivate judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace sufficiently to advance to the next stage.
The episode kicked off with a distinctive challenge where the four celebrity contestants were divided into two pairs: Tamer teamed up with Emma, while Jake partnered with Jamie.
British socialite Emma Weymouth became the latest star to be eliminated from Celebrity MasterChef on Thursday – and fans think she struggled to hide her disappointment
The 38-year-old Marchioness of Bath got the boot from the all-star cooking competition just ahead of the quarter finals
Each pair had to create a dish, but only one member of the team was allowed to view the recipe and guide their partner through the cooking process.
Jake instructed Jamie as they made spiced quail with yassa sauce, cassava chips and rice. Meanwhile, Emma guided Tamer as they cooked up grilled jerk chicken, with rice and peas, mango coleslaw and dumplings.
After the largely successful communication challenge, the contestants were sent to two professional kitchens to try their hand at a busy lunch service.
Then, the final task of the episode saw the hopeful celebrities back in the MasterChef kitchen as they each prepared a signature dish for their own food truck.
Jake whipped up a tempura taco dish, Tamer made a lamb kebab, and Jamie opted for a chicken burger – all of which impressed the judges.
However, Emma’s summer rolls fell short, which cost her her place in the quarter finals.
She prepared marinated chicken thighs and pickled vegetables, wrapped in rice paper but the judges struggled to taste any chilli in her dish.
‘The major flavour in there is corriander, I don’t pick up any chilli heat,’ admitted Greg, ‘I would have liked a little bit of chilli’.

Ffter three grueling challenges in the kitchen, Emma failed to impress the judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace enough to earn her a place in the next round
