Eva spoke at the festival on Tuesday about how grateful she is to Desperate Housewives for transforming her career.
She expressed, “Desperate Housewives transformed my life, significantly expanding my global presence, so I am thrilled to be at the Taormina Film Festival, receiving recognition through this humanitarian award.”
‘If I didn’t have Desperate Housewives, I wouldn’t have the reach I have all over the world.’

The Taormina Film Festival honours women in film, with Melanie Griffth and Pamela Anderson being given awards as well as Eva.
The pretty brunette said of the questions she was asked about working with a predominantly female cast on Desperate Housewives.
She elaborated, “It’s noteworthy that this festival focuses on celebrating the impact of women, especially on a show featuring four female leads. However, it’s common for people to quickly criticize any off-screen drama.”

Eva shared her thoughts on the fourth day of the 60th Taormina Film Festival, where she was awarded the Humanitarian Award and discussed her work with the Eva Longoria Foundation.
