Following England’s lackluster World Cup performance, it’s no surprise that the players might want a break from the spotlight of football this summer.

Frank Lampard found a delightful distraction by taking his fiancée Christine Bleakley to enjoy a day of tennis at Wimbledon on Saturday.

As London’s skies alternated between bright sunshine and heavy showers, the couple caught everyone’s attention with their impeccably matching outfits at Centre Court.

Christine, 35, looked chic in a sleeveless white top paired with a black skirt adorned with a pattern of tiny white squares.

Wearing her wavy brown shoulder-length tresses down, the TV personality polished off her ensemble with a pair of white stiletto pumps and a matching purse.

Not to be left behind, footballer Frank, 36, arrived at the sporty event looking dapper in a tailored three-piece navy suit, which he wore with a light blue shirt and black tie.

The love birds, who watched Eugenie Bouchard face off against Petra Kvitova in the ladies singles finals, have been enjoying their summer together since Frank’s return to British shores from the Brazil World Cup.

Last week, the two were photographed out together at London hot-spot Boujis.

And while he contemplates his future after quitting Chelsea, Frank still seemed to have football on his mind once he got home.

The star tweeted his way through Belgium’s World Cup match against Argentina.

Meanwhile, his belle Christine uploaded a picture of Frank posing with Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes at Wimbledon.

The couple have been romantically linked since 2009, announcing their engagement in June 2011.

Frank is the father or two daughters – Luna, 8, and Isla, 7 – with his former fiancée, Spanish model Elen Rivas.
