Understated glamour appeared to be Gemma Arterton aim when she arrived at the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards on Tuesday.
The actress stylishly wrapped up in a long, black coat and trousers for the event held at Claridge’s Hotel, in London.
The Quatum of Solace star let her impressive updo do all the talking instead, which had been pinned up to perfection.

The brunette beauty’s hair looked volumised on top while the back was left in a messy design, as strands fell down around her face.
The 27-year-old kept most of her outfit under wraps, however a pair of loose-fitting, sparkly trousers could be seen underneath.
The former Bond star added some extra inches in satin peep-toe heels as she carried a tiny gold clutch bag.

Gemma’s up do also revealed her small tattoo of an angel’s wing behind her ear, which she had done after shooting Prince of Persia.
The star completed her evening look with immaculate red nails and simple gold drop earrings, while her make-up featured bronze-coloured eye shadow.
Her outfit was much more covered up that her last red carpet look that she wore for The UNICEF Halloween Ball at One Mayfair in London last week.

Gemma wowed in a stunning backless negligee-dress which had thin spaghetti straps, showing off her enviable curves.
Her night out came as it announced that she is set to be judge for this year’s EE Rising Star Award at the Bafta’s.
Discussing her role on the panel, she expressed, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this year’s EE Rising Star Award judging team. I understand the importance of industry backing and acknowledgment when you are just beginning your career. This category is always thrilling, and I’m eager to see who will claim the 2014 award.”
Meanwhile also making an appearance at the awards was Rita Ora who debuted her newly-dyed white hair and a figure-hugging fishtail lace gown.
However, she wasn’t the only one who stood out that evening; Victoria Beckham was honored with the Special Contribution to British Fashion award, and Jourdan Dunn was recognized as Model of the year.
L’Wren Scott, Sir Mick Jagger’s designer partner, was honored as Tastemaker, while Cate Blanchett and Naomie Harris received the International and British Actress awards, respectively.
