Kara’s initial plea stated, “NYC – SOS My car was taken with my dog inside this morning. The vehicle sustained damage—passenger side was side-swiped and mirror is missing. Please call 911 if you see it.”

And she reposted an image of pop star Sabrina Carpenter wearing one of the pieces from the range, originally shared by celebrity gossip blogger Deuxmoi.
The designer referenced the singer’s sexually-charged song Juno as she teased, ‘If @sabrinacarpenter keeps making @guestinresidence look like it’s in a perfect Fall rom-com… I might let her make me Juno!!’
According to media publication Puck, Guest in Residence has grown into a $30 million business since its September 2022 launch.
Per the company’s website, GIR ‘celebrated the timeless elegance and luxurious comfort of cashmere.’
It’s also noted that ‘the brand creates 100% cashmere pieces that honor heirlooms while reimagining them for a new generation.’
At the time of her launch, Gigi told Elle magazine she wanted the pieces to have hints of her own style, but hoped consumers would make the articles of clothing their own.
She told the outlet: ‘I think I have a pretty sustainable way of dressing. I do buy things and consume, but I try to mix them in with things that I’ve always loved and cherished.
‘I hope that these pieces can be ones that people try to restyle and find a lot of different ways into their personal style.’
