Stars of “Tell Me Lies,” Grace Van Patten and Jackson White, have translated their captivating on-screen chemistry into reality for Calvin Klein’s sultry new Valentine’s Day campaign.
The couple, both 29, shed their layers for the brand’s latest Our Calvins photoshoot, showcasing their sizzling connection through a series of intimate photos that seamlessly blend romance with fashion.
Captured by the lens of Zora Sicher, the campaign highlights Van Patten and White in naturally sensual poses, draped in denim and underwear, as they leverage their genuine off-screen relationship.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Van Patten shared that the chance to participate in the campaign came at an opportune time, following a particularly taxing day on set.
“It was a tough day, filled with intense scenes, and we were feeling pretty drained,” she explained to the magazine. “When this opportunity came, we literally jumped up and down with excitement.”
White shared her enthusiasm, admitting, “We’re not usually like that… We couldn’t even argue in our scene because we were just too happy.”

Van Patten also reflected on the meaning behind the campaign, emphasizing the brand’s long-standing focus on authenticity and connection.
‘Calvin Klein has always been about confidence, connection and being comfortable in your own skin. Valentine’s Day is such a good excuse to celebrate that kind of closeness,’ she said. ‘This campaign is about the easy, intimate moments – when you can be yourself, laugh, and just have fun.’
White agreed, describing the shoot as uniquely personal.
‘There was something very intimate about this experience that made it different from other projects,’ he said. ‘Stripped back to just our Calvins, we were able to be fully present with each other and lean into how special and effortless our connection is.’
Van Patten and White first met in 2022 while working on season one of Hulu’s Tell Me Lies, which is based on the novel of the same name.
Their very first interaction, however, took place during a Zoom chemistry read before filming officially began.
As Van Patten later recalled during an October 2025 appearance on Call Her Daddy, sparks didn’t immediately fly.
‘I was like, “Alright. It’s fine. Maybe we won’t get along.” But, like, he’s perfect for the part, and he’s so talented and great,’ she said. ‘And so, I was half-really excited that we found the Stephen. But the other just kinda rolled my eyes a little bit.’

While speaking to Vanity Fair about signing on to the campaign, the actress revealed the opportunity arrived at just the right moment after an emotionally draining day on set
‘It was kind of a hard day – intense scenes and we were just low-energy,’ she told the magazine. ‘We literally jumped up and down’
White eventually explained he had been ‘nervous’ during the call, which helped put things into perspective. When the pair finally met in person, Van Patten said her impression quickly changed, thinking, ‘this guy’s the best.’
On Tell Me Lies, the duo portray Lucy and Stephen – college students locked in a toxic, emotionally charged relationship.
Off screen, however, Van Patten has made it clear their real-life dynamic couldn’t be more different.
‘Our relationship feels very grounded and easy, and we really understand each other,’ she told People in August 2025. ‘And he’s such a dedicated, ambitious human that I learn from every day, and he’s so extremely supportive.’
Despite the potential challenges of working so closely with a romantic partner, Van Patten said it ultimately makes her job easier.
White echoed her excitement, adding, ‘We never do that… We couldn’t fight in the scene, we were too happy’

Ahead of filming season two, she admitted she initially worried about returning to the show’s intense love story.
‘I had this fear of, ‘You’re going to know when I’m acting.’ Before we got into it, I was like, ‘Am I going to be insecure? Am I going to be… Because you know me so well, you’re going to know,’ she said. ‘And then once we were on set, I was like, ‘No, it’s actually the opposite.’
She added, ‘It makes me feel so safe and so comfortable and able to go there and be vulnerable, because I’m so comfortable with him. And that part of it was so beautiful.’
White echoed similar sentiments in an interview with ABC News, explaining how their real-life trust strengthens their on-screen performances.
‘It’s cool, we get to bring a lot of freedom and safety and we get to do whatever we want with each other because there’s so much trust there,’ he said.
