According to the reports, Deborra-Lee Furness has now chosen to subtly admit about her Hugh Jackman’s infidelity because she was “hurt.”

After weeks of speculation about an alleged affair between Jackman and Sutton, Furness—who split from the “Deadpool and Wolverine” star in 2023—seemingly confirmed the rumors in a subtle way.

The Australian actress was spotted privately liking a post by gossip blogger Tasha Lustig, which claimed that her ex-husband was “running off with the mistress” and planning a “soft launch” of their relationship.

Adding to the intrigue, a friend of Furness also commented on the same post, stating that the blogger was “on point” with her claims.

Now, sources close to Furness have provided insight into why she chose to subtly hint at the infidelity, linking it to the emotional pain she feels over Jackman’s dishonesty.

“She has suspected Hugh of cheating on her, and he adamantly denied it over and over,” an insider shared per Daily Mail. “This is what would hurt the worst.”

The insider continued, “They based their marriage on honesty. But if Hugh didn’t physically cheat, she knows that he did emotionally.”

Furness’ friend De Cadenet also added fuel to the rumors that Jackman had an affair with Foster.

On Instagram, she left a comment under the same video post that Furness liked, which branded Foster a “mistress,” hinting that all the gossip and rumors about an affair were true.

Due to the wild speculations made in Lustig’s video, de Cadenet’s response raised eyebrows about the true reason why Furness and Jackman called it quits on their almost 30-year marriage.
