Where to Watch New Oxygen Series Unknown Serial Killers of America

True crime fans will have much to savor in a new show coming to Oxygen.

Viewers will soon have the chance to delve into the tales behind the chilling series Unknown Serial Killers of America, an original production featuring six hour-long episodes that explore the terrifying actions of some of the country’s most vicious murderers. What’s unique about these episodes? The killers showcased never reached the infamous status of figures like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, or John Wayne Gacy, making their names likely unfamiliar even to dedicated followers of true crime.

Hunting and killing under the radar, perhaps, helped these men remain uncaptured for so long, and some of the body counts remain unknown.

“Through direct accounts from law enforcement officials who handled the cases and narratives from the victims’ loved ones, the series brings attention to serial killers who avoided widespread recognition. It also analyzes how they managed to commit their appalling acts for such extended periods,” according to the show’s official description.

You don’t want to miss it.

Where to Watch Unknown Serial Killers of America

The debut episode of Unknown Serial Killers of America is set to air on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 7/6c on Oxygen, following a brand-new installment of Oxygen’s Snapped.

What we know from Unknown Serial Killers of America’s First Look

As seen in a dark and deadly First Look, Unknown Serial Killers of America examines only the worst of the worst from those closest to these unconscionable crimes. Those in focus include the “Riverside Prostitute Killer” William Suff; suspected Indiana killer Herb Baumeister; “Hog Trail Killer” Daniel Conahan; “Sunday Morning Slasher” Carl Watts; “Chameleon Killer” Terry Rasmussen; and killer Maury Travis.

These, one commenter said in the recent teaser, are a few of the most “prolific murderers in the history of the United States.”

“The national media never picked up on it because these victims were unidentified,” another claimed.

Yet the killers’ names continue to be unfamiliar to many.
