Happy Pride, everyone!

Later today, the 2025 New York City Pride March will kick off at 26th Street and Fifth Avenue, concluding at 15th Street and 7th Ave. Celebrating one of the biggest LGBTQIA+ civil rights events globally, this year’s theme is “Rise Up: Pride in Protest,” commemorating the inaugural Pride March in 1970.

The Grand Marshals for NYC’s 2025 march are Karine Jean-Pierre, Marti Gould Cummings, DJ Lina, Elisa Crespo, and Trans formative Schools.

“Our marshals this year remind us that we are stronger when united in our pursuit of equality and freedom,” stated NYC Pride Co-Chair Kazz Alexander. “They highlight the belief that LGBTQIA+ rights are indeed human rights.”

If you’re unable to join the NYC Pride March in person, Decider provides details on streaming the event online. Here’s all the information you need.
