• Nigerian singer and songwriter Simisola Kosoko has shared her first encounter with her husband, Adekunle Gold.

• In an interview with the Tea in Taye podcast, the talented vocalist revealed that she was unaware of Adekunle Gold’s singing career when she first met him.

• She noted that Before meeting him, she had decided against marrying a singer, unaware of his significant music love.

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simisola Kosoko, simply known as Simi has shared her first encounter with her husband, Adekunle Gold.

The gifted vocalist admitted that when she first met Adekunle Gold, she had no idea that he was a singer in an interview with the Tea with Taye podcast.

She noted how before she met him, she had already made up her mind never to marry a singer. Simi claimed she was aware of his love of music but was unaware that it was a significant matter for him.

She also revealed that her husband had a background in graphic design and was working for several companies when they met. According to the singer, she chose to pursue a relationship with Adekunle since she saw him as a kind and gentle Yoruba guy.

The “Duduke” singer further reveled that Adekunle Gold left her a message on Facebook which she is yet to reply to till date.
