Award-winning Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has talked about how her husband Adekunle Gold’s job might have made their relationship worse.

The “Gone For Good” singer said she didn’t know Adekunle Gold was also an artist until they ran into each other at an event. This seemed odd to her.

The mother of one said she vowed she would never marry an artist, but she didn’t know that her boyfriend was one when they were dating.

Simi revealed what transpired on the most recent episode of the show Tea with Tay, which is hosted by media personality Taymesan. She also said that Adekunle approached her as a fan.

She also said that she dated the “Five Star” cooner even though she didn’t know he was a musician when they met because he was a nice guy.

“When I first met my husband, I didn’t know he was singing because me I already said I cannot marry a singer. I didn’t know he was singing, I think he was even a fan,” Simi said.
