If you’re curious about the status of your beloved network TV series, Nicole Gallucci from Decider has compiled a list that details which shows have been canceled or renewed for 2025.

On CBS, the three NCIS series — NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney — will continue with new seasons. Viewers can also look forward to more episodes of Matlock, Elsbeth, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, and Ghosts. However, as the list indicates, not every show will be returning.

CBS has decided to conclude Queen Latifah’s The Equalizer after five seasons, as well as say goodbye to FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, and S.W.A.T. But where does Fire Country stand amid these decisions? That’s a great question. Will CBS bring back the fiery action drama for another season?

Here’s everything you need to know.

Is Fire Country New Tonight (May 9)?

Nope. The season three finale aired two weeks ago (April 25). Tonight’s CBS schedule features new episodes of Hollywood Squares and S.W.A.T. from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET, followed by a rerun of Fire Country at 10:00 p.m. ET (Season 3, Episode 2: “Firing Squad”).

How Many Episodes Are There of Fire Country Season 3?

The third season of Fire Country consists of 20 episodes.

Will There Be a Fire Country Season 4?

Yes! In February 2025, CBS renewed Fire Country for a fourth season.

When Does Fire Country Return With New Episodes?

No official release date has been announced, but it was recently revealed that Fire Country returns this fall on CBS. We expect the fourth season to debut in September or October on CBS.

In a bonus bit of good news, Sheriff Country, a new Morena Baccarin-led spinoff of Fire Country, also debuts this fall on CBS. The two shows will air from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET on Friday nights.

Where To Watch Fire Country Online:

Every episode of Fire Country is available to stream on Paramount+, which is available for as little as $7.99/month. You can also add Paramount+ to your Prime Video or Hulu accounts for an extra $12.99/month. You can sample Paramount+ on Amazon with a seven-day free trial.

Finally, Fire Country is available to stream on-demand via PlutoTV, Amazon, and CBS.com.

Is Fire Country On Netflix?

Yes! The first season of Fire Country is currently streaming on Netflix.
