Yes! ABC renewed both The Rookie and Will Trent for Seasons 8 and 4, respectively.

When Will The Rookie Season 8 Premiere on ABC?

Unfortunately, it’s going to be a while. Just like last season, ABC is holding The Rookie and Will Trent for midseason. No official premiere dates have been announced, but we expect both shows to return in January 2026.
