Jennifer Garner was recently spotted enjoying a leisurely stroll following a Thanksgiving reunion with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. The 53-year-old actress, who dedicated part of her holiday to serving meals to the homeless on Skid Row, took advantage of the mild weather for a relaxed walk, accompanied by a friend.

Her outing occurred shortly after Ben Affleck was seen driving to Garner’s residence. He was accompanied by their 13-year-old son, Samuel, and, possibly, his mother, Chris Boldt.

The “13 Going On 30” star chose comfortable workout wear for her outing, donning a short-sleeved black top paired with dark blue leggings. She completed her casual ensemble with white sneakers and tied a gray sweatshirt around her waist for added ease.

Garner kept her look simple and practical, pulling her brunette hair back into a ponytail and accessorizing with a cap.

The star completed her outfit with a pair of stylish shades and held a lighthearted conversation while accompanied on the walk. 

The mom-of-three spent time with her ex-husband Ben Affleck on Thursday as the Oscar winner was seen cruising to her home in a sleek black SUV. 

Their teenage son Samuel was seated in the backseat while a woman sat on the passenger side – and could have possibly been the actor’s mother. 

Garner and Affleck were previously married from 2005 until their divorce was finalized in 2018. Aside from Samuel, the former couple are also parents to Violet, 19, and Fin, 16. 

‘Just like last year, Jen hosted Thanksgiving at her house. Ben and his mom joined,’ a source told People in an article published on Friday. 

‘Jen makes it very special. She’s such a great chef. She loves having her whole family together too. Ben’s always welcome at her house.’

Following their divorce, the insider added that both Garner and Affleck ‘get along and really support each other.’

The actor is also ‘doing well and staying focused on work, his health and his kids.’

Earlier in the day before their reunion, Garner volunteered to serve the homeless on Skid Row in Los Angeles. 

She held a smile on her face as she dished potatoes for The Midnight Mission’s annual charity lunch. 

Last year on Thanksgiving, the actress volunteered for the same shelter – and Affleck as well as their children had also joined her.

Jennifer Lopez had filed for divorce from the Good Will Hunting star only months earlier on their second wedding anniversary. 

A source told Page Six at the time that Ben ‘felt blessed’ to spend Thanksgiving with his ex-wife and children, adding that he ‘can just be himself’ around Garner.

‘Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her,’ the insider continued.

‘Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids.’

The source further informed the outlet that Affleck and Garner have spent other Thanksgiving holidays together since their separation.

Affleck has previously commented on raising his children with the 13 Going On 30 actress during an interview with GQ in March.
