Though she grew up under the spotlight as a beloved 80s child star, this actress isn’t shy about getting her hands dirty with some unglamorous yard work.

The former Family Ties star, who shared the screen with Hollywood heavyweights like Diane Keaton and Albert Finney, was recently seen tending to her garden on Monday.

At 52, she reflects on a journey that started when she was just a young girl. She famously portrayed Jennifer Keaton, acting alongside Michael J. Fox in the hit sitcom Family Ties.

Despite embracing a more private lifestyle as an adult, she hasn’t completely stepped away from the limelight, having appeared on reality shows such as Celebrity Fit Club and Celebrity Wife Swap.

Sporting a chic all-black ensemble and a touch of eye makeup, the actress didn’t hesitate to metaphorically roll up her sleeves to keep her home looking its best.

Can you guess who this star is?

If you guessed Tina Yothers, you were right!

Yothers was spotted cleaning up the front of her Los Angeles home with the help of  a variety of rather intimidating tools.

She used a leaf blower and water hose to tackle the sidewalk while a weed wacker was brought in to remove any pesky vegetation.

Yothers is best known for her role as the lovable Jennifer Keaton on Family Ties alongside Michael J. Fox.

She also played a Laker Girl in a 1990 made-for-TV movie and Tonya Harding in a comedic short film called Spunk.

This star even graced the screen alongside Hollywood legends Diane Keaton and Albert Finney in the 1982 drama Shoot The Moon.

Yothers kicked off her acting career at just three years old, landing roles in television commercials before moving on to bigger projects.

Her first film appearance came in the 1981 TV movie The Cherokee Trail, followed by a role in Shoot the Moon.

Shoot the Moon was a drama directed by Alan Parker, starring Finney, Keaton, and a young Yothers.

The film follows the unraveling marriage of George (Finney) and Faith Dunlap (Keaton), whose separation and affairs devastate their children.

Set in Marin County, California, the title refers to the card game Hearts, symbolizing a desperate attempt to reclaim control, much like the characters’ struggles with their own lives.

However, it was Tina’s portrayal of Jennifer Keaton, the fun and feisty younger daughter on the hit sitcom Family Ties, that made her a household name.

The main cast included Fox as Alex, Meredith Baxter and Michael Gross as his parents Elyse and Steven, Justine Bateman as his sister Mallory, Tina as Jennifer, and Brian Bonsall as Andrew.

The show, which ran from 1982 to 1989, became a staple of 80s television, winning numerous awards.

It even nabbed three consecutive Emmys for Michael J. Fox as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

After the series ended in 1989, Yothers made a bold transformation, chopping off her long blonde locks, dyeing them black, and launching a music career with her brother Cory in a band called Jaded.

She even took the stage in a musical about the life of adult film star Linda Lovelace, but largely stepped away from the spotlight in favor of a more private life.

Despite her retreat from fame, Yothers made a few notable appearances on reality shows, including Celebrity Fit Club and Celebrity Wife Swap in 2012.

She also made a brief return to the limelight in 2013 with a memorable appearance on What Not to Wear.

Yothers has been married to Robert Kaiser since August 2002.

They have two children together, a son named Jake and a daughter named Lilly.
