Over the weekend, JoJo Siwa showcased a new look, far from her usual stage glamour, as she reunited with her boyfriend Chris Hughes. She traded her iconic rhinestones for a sophisticated black gown to attend a friend’s wedding in London.

Proud boyfriend Chris, 32, shared a series of snaps with his girlfriend on Instagram after they attended the swanky nuptials at the Savoy.

The 22-year-old dazzled in the elegant dress, which subtly included a nod to her well-known bows, as she and Chris posed against the beautiful backdrop of the London skyline.

The couple met in the Celebrity Big Brother house back in April, and since leaving the house have fallen for each other, becoming inseparable since.

Chris, himself looking dapper in a black tuxedo, captioned the loved-up snaps: ‘A beautiful wedding in the city. Congratulation Mr & Mrs Lewis!’

Over the weekend, JoJo opened up about her plans to hopefully marry Chris in the future, as well as taking a swipe at her ex Kath Ebbs.

Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, she said: ‘I’m just lucky enough that I realised things when I did.

JoJo continued: ‘I could have spent more time in my life being in a bad place. And I’d rather not do that. 

‘It’s interesting… It’s funny to see what people do for attention.’  

Meanwhile, as JoJo and Chris continue their long-distance relationship, the pair have already thought about what a future wedding might look like.

She added to the publication: ‘A wedding is a two-person thing.

“We still need to figure out the details, but I definitely want a theme with a baby-blue color scheme, and I have to help Chris compile the playlist,” she mentioned.

“Otherwise, it’ll be filled with songs unfamiliar to me! Chris enjoys introducing me to music. He admires The 1975 and various boy bands, though I don’t know them since they’re British. Just give me some NSYNC or Backstreet Boys!”

JoJo’s new comments come after it was revealed how she is eyeing up a permanent move to the UK – and ‘pestering’ Chris for children. 

Speaking on Heart’s digital feature No Filter, the star discussed her hopes for the future with her boyfriend.

When asked if they had talked about having children, JoJo admitted: ‘I pester him about it, we pester each other about it.’ 

She continued: ‘The thing about Christopher and I is how we met, it accelerates your relationship like no other, right?

‘Just on a friendship dynamic, and then all of a sudden we realised, clearly we like each other more than friends here, a lot, a lot more than friends.

‘I don’t know, I think we have a beautiful future ahead and I think it’s very fast and it’s very quick, but it feels so right.

‘I can’t explain it, but we have very fun, fun, fun things ahead of us that I’m looking forward to.

‘It’s everything I think anybody wants in life is to feel this way and then to be treated this way and then to make a family this way and have your own little family this way.

‘Our families get along with each other and so it’s like we’re like one big family. It’s gorgeous.’

The pair’s relationship has had the seal of approval from their families, with JoJo previously revealing her mum ‘adores’ Chris, while she was snapped having a cup of tea with his father Paul. 

Chris recently revealed he turned his relationship with JoJo from friendship into romance by putting his feelings down on paper.

The pair became instant friends on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year and began dating after the final.

Chris told how he went to the US to surprise JoJo for her birthday and wrote down his feelings on a piece of paper in a hotel bar in order to tell her how he really felt.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: ‘I was confused about how I felt. Then I wasn’t confused anymore. I knew I needed to write it down to explain to her how I was feeling.

 ‘I went to Florida thinking “I really like this person”, but I was slightly confused about the feelings. I had already written her birthday card before I flew over. I took all these presents over for her. They were fun and sentimental gifts rather than anything of monetary value.

‘But the night before her birthday, I realised my feelings had changed. I told her: “I’ve got to go do something. I’ll be back in half an hour.” I went to the hotel reception and borrowed a pen and came back up to the room.’
