Kaia Gerber has obtained a court-ordered restraining order against a man she claims approached her with a peculiar request to join a seance.
According to TMZ, both Kaia Gerber and her mother, Cindy Crawford, have secured a temporary restraining order against 35-year-old Daniel Lee Schoonover, who they assert has been persistently harassing them.
Reports indicate that Schoonover allegedly attended one of Gerber’s performances at a theater festival in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where he initially proposed the seance. He is said to have later reappeared at the home of Cindy Crawford.
Furthermore, the man has been accused of making threats against the lives of Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber.
The Daily Mail has reached out for comments from the representatives of Gerber and Crawford, but no response has been received at this time.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for the mother and daughter for comment but have not yet heard back.
Schoonover was allegedly found sleeping outside of the pedestrian gate beside the driveway of Crawford’s home on July 29, months after the Williamstown incident.

The supermodel legend claims he rang the doorbell and asked if Gerber resided at the home, to which Crawford responded no.
Gerber served Schoonover with an emergency protective order after she learned it was the same man at her theater festival.
But the alleged harassment persisted on social media, where he left comments that the documents described as ‘threatening, sexually graphic and extremely concerning.’
The documents add that Schoonover has allegedly also threatened the lives of Crawford– who suffered another stalker scare in 2022 – and her husband Rande Gerber.
They are now asking a court to step in to keep Schoonover anywhere near the family.
Kaia isn’t letting the stalker scare stop her from living her life, and on Saturday attended the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
She posted video of her at the event, captioned: ‘thank you for having me @theacademy @givenchy.’

Gerber has followed in her mother’s modeling footsteps, but has also spread her wings by pursuing acting.
Last year, Kaia spoke highly of her mom as she reflected on how working together over the years has taken their relationship to a new level.
‘I do feel like we’ve established a really strong bond and friendship outside of just a mother-daughter dynamic, which has been so fun for me over the last few years,’ Kaia told People.
Cindy agreed. ‘We went to Burning Man together,’ she told the outlet.
‘We just did a retreat together, we both love reading,’ the Peabody Award winner added.
‘Yeah, it’s a lot of like talking about what books we’re reading, sharing podcasts.’
‘Theater,’ chimed in Cindy. ‘Yeah, we go see a lot of theater together,’ Kaia concurred.
