Katy Perry Reportedly ‘Entering An Area Beyond Career Crisis’

According to the Daily Mail, a PR expert has cautioned Perry about her career potentially facing “extinction.”
The famous singer joined Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin all-female crew, which included the billionaire’s fiancée Lauren Sanchez, CBS Mornings host Gayle King, rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, activist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn, for an 11-minute trip to space.
The spaceflight, which was meant to highlight women’s achievements in science and exploration, has been hit with major backlash from fans and top celebrities, with many branding it a “pr stunt” and labeling the women “space tourists.”
Perry seems to have taken the most heat from the critics due to her actions after the crew returned from space and the remarks she made in interviews.

In a chat with the news outlet, PR expert Eric Schiffer has now claimed that the “I Kissed A Girl” singer’s reputation is “beyond” repair.
“Katy Perry’s reputation is vibe surfing the toilet drain faster than Blue Origin re-entered the atmosphere,” he stated. “Katy’s entering an area beyond career crisis into career extinction with a brand now synonymous with faux-feminist failure.”
Schiffer continued, “Katy went to space, but she still couldn’t find her lost fanbase. Even her backup dancers may be distancing themselves.”

The Singer’s Latest Controversy Comes After She Faced Backlash For Collaborating With Dr. Luke

Before the Blue Origin spaceflight, Perry was already dealing with a PR nightmare after collaborating with music producer Dr. Luke on her comeback album, “143.”
The controversy stemmed from the sexual assault allegations made by singer Kesha against Dr. Luke, which he has denied. They have also settled their legal dispute.
Perry and the music producer worked together on the song “Woman’s World,” and this caused the pop star to receive immense backlash from netizens and even loyal fans.
To make matters worse, the album failed to make an impact commercially and was also critically panned.
Speaking about her latest actions, the PR expert noted that the singer “went to space for perspective, but Katy may soon need a telescope to see her career from here.”

Katy Perry Advised To Take A One-Year Hiatus To Save Her Career

During Schiffer’s chat with the Daily Mail, he referenced Perry’s stance on climate change, implying that her space trip served as a stark contrast to it.
The PR expert said, “Katy preaches climate action while burning swimming pools of jet fuel for PR. She’s become a PR pyromaniac, causing her reputation to go boom.”
“She’s become the poster child for why some celebrities should disappear. Katy Perry should vanish from the public eye before she becomes a full-time meme,” Schiffer continued. “Katy’s an out-of-touch celebrity elite and magnet for making boneheaded moves in a desperate bid for relevance.”
According to the reputation expert, Perry would need to go on a one-year hiatus to have a chance at saving her career. He described such a time off by the singer as a “gift from the universe.”

The Singer Went Viral For Her Behavior After Returning To Earth
Since successfully completing their trip to space, many have branded Blue Origin’s all-female crew’s mission as “tone deaf” and “embarrassing.”
Perry has also borne the brunt of these criticisms due to her “dramatic” behavior after landing back on Earth.
The moment that set tongues wagging was when the singer stepped out of the Blue Origin capsule, paused to hold a daisy to the sky, then dramatically dropped to her knees and kissed the Earth.
Later, in an emotional post-flight interview, Perry reflected on the experience, describing it as a connection to “love.”
“It’s not about singing my songs. It’s about a collective energy in there. It’s about us. It’s about making space for future women and taking up space and belonging,” she said, per the Daily Mail.
Perry emphasized that their journey was rooted in love and purpose, adding: “And it’s about this wonderful world that we see right out there and appreciating it. This is all for the benefit of Earth.”
