While discussing fitness and body image with guest Remi Bader, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star admitted that although she’s lost a large amount of weight, she felt more “confident” in her previous body.
“I tell one of my girlfriends, she works with me, we were both bigger and now that we’re smaller, we’re athletic smaller,” she said. “We’ll always joke and be like, ‘I was so much more confident when I was fat and chubby.’”

Khloé Kardashian Says Society Is Always Nitpicking Her

Khloé continued, saying she finds it perplexing how “mean” people are to themselves. However, she blames their self-loathing on the world “constantly nitpicking you.”
“Whether it’s, like you said, you’re thinner, ‘How dare you get so thin?’ but when you’re bigger, they call you all these names; they shame you. That’s when you sort of just have to throw your hands up in the air,” she said.

Khloé Kardashian Opens Up About The Struggles She Faced Losing Weight

For those who may be unfamiliar with Khloé’s fitness journey, the reality star admitted during previous episodes of her family show that she always referred to herself as the “fat” sister.
However, the “Revenge Body” host began showing off her new figure in 2016 after putting in extreme work in her home gym.
Despite the success she’s faced, though, Khloé admits that the journey was “not that easy.” According to her, she’s been “working out for like 10 years;” however, she had to take “baby steps” to get to where she is today.
“It took me a very long time to get where I am, and people forget that,” she said.
“And all of the work that it takes from within,” she added. “Your brain is a muscle and you have to retrain that to even love yourself, to look at yourself.”

Kardashian Wants To Promote A ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ Now That She’s Got Her Revenge Body

In a previous interview, Khloé spoke to Marie Claire about her new activewear line, which accommodates women of all sizes, from XS to 4XL. The mother of two also discussed her health journey and explained that her primary focus was always to promote a “healthy lifestyle” for herself and others.
“I think that’s where people get really confused,” she said. “People think, ‘Oh, you have to be really skinny to mean that you’re really healthy.’ And that’s something that Emma [her business partner] and I totally disagree with.”
The 40-year-old went on to advocate for women who might not want to be “a size zero, two, or four.”

“Some people are very comfortable being a size 16 or a 22, and that’s beautiful,” she said. “I really hate when people emphasize skinniness with healthy. Because I know a lot of skinny people that are really unhealthy.”
