LeAnn Rimes suffered an anxiety dream come to life over the weekend as her teeth fell out mid-song.
The Can’t Fight The Moonlight star, 42, who gained attention after her jaw dislocated during a concert in 2014, shared on Instagram the painful experience of her dental bridge coming loose at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington.
She said: ‘We’re going to do a little story time about how the show must go on. And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on.
‘During last night’s performance, right in the middle of “One Way Ticket,” I felt something shift in my mouth. As many of you know, I’ve undergone numerous dental surgeries and have a bridge at the front. In the midst of my song, it came out.
A panicked Rimes called out ‘hold on!’ as she ran to the side of the stage and popped the bridge back in.
She went on to say: ‘I just felt the need to be upfront with the audience and explain what was going on; otherwise, I would have had to leave the stage. For the rest of the performance, I kept readjusting the bridge, pressing it back in place while continuing to sing.

‘I don’t usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last. I hope my teeth stay in tonight. We shall see.
‘The front row, get ready for something to fly out. If you catch them please return them.
‘And you know, like I said, there wasn’t a thing I could do about it except either walk off or just hold my teeth in. So, I just ran with it.’
Rimes said she hoped other artists could be inspired by her onstage gaffe and know ‘that the show can go on in the midst of sheer, utter embarrassment.
The star was left reeling in horror during a 2014 Oklahoma performance when her jaw popped out of place and she couldn’t do an encore.
The star immediately tweeted to explain what happened.
‘Oklahoma!!!! I love you so much! I’m sorry for no encore. I had my jaw pop out of place & I can’t hear out of my left ear. #tmjsucks.
‘I had the best time tonight with my Oklahoma fans! I love y’all!’
