Lily Collins has been chosen to portray the legendary Hollywood actress Audrey Hepburn in an upcoming biopic, a casting decision that has stirred up controversy among fans of a popular singer.
The star of “Emily In Paris” will step into the shoes of the celebrated icon in a film centered around the creation of Hepburn’s renowned 1961 movie, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”
The movie draws inspiration from Sam Wasson’s book, “Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the Dawn of the Modern Woman,” which is recognized as the first comprehensive account of how one of Audrey Hepburn’s most famous films came to be.
Although Lily Collins is often noted for her resemblance to the graceful British actress, fans of Ariana Grande have expressed their disappointment. The singer had previously hinted at her desire to take on the role someday.
Social media has buzzed with reactions, as fans of the “Wicked” star pointed out that Ariana Grande has frequently channeled Audrey Hepburn’s signature style during her red carpet appearances.
