Madonna was supported by her loved ones on Saturday as she celebrated her 67th birthday at the famous Palio di Siena horse race in Tuscany.
The seasoned pop artist observed from a balcony with her son Rocco, daughter Lourdes Leon, and her 12-year-old twin daughters, Stella and Estere, who were adopted from Malawi in 2017, as the biannual event commenced.
This longstanding tradition has occurred in Siena, a city in Tuscany, every year since medieval times, with the first organized race taking place in 1633.
And Madonna, who celebrated her birthday on Saturday, looked engrossed in the spectacle while flanked by her loved ones.
Artist son Rocco, 25, her only child with director Guy Ritchie, was stripped to his vest as he accompanied his mother on her special day.
Eldest daughter Lourdes, 28 – her daughter with dancer Carlos Leon – also joined in on the fun during their appearance in central Italy.

Madonna is also mother to 19-year-old daughter Chifundo ‘Mercy’ James Kambewa Ciccone.
Madonna adopted Mercy, a four-year-old orphan battling Malaria, in 2007. This adoption led to a three-year legal challenge, partly because Madonna, originally from Michigan, had already experienced two divorces.
Her 19-year-old son, David Banda, whom she adopted at 13 months old while supporting an orphanage in Malawi, did not join the family at the event.
Last month, Madonna sent fans into a frenzy as she teased her upcoming new music in new social media snaps.
She confirmed earlier this year that her upcoming album will be a sequel to her hit 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor.
She shared an update on Instagram, offering a behind-the-scenes look at her time in a London recording studio with producer Stuart Price.
In a series of photos, Madonna was captured in the studio, showcasing a busty appearance in a lace cami top while diligently working on her new music.
Madonna could also be seen wearing a t-shirt which said ‘Mother’ as she strolled around the Big Smoke.

She was also seen with her DJ son Rocco, 25, who she shares with director Guy Ritchie

Madonna looked nervous at one point during the race
Sharing photos from the studio in February, Madonna was seen sitting behind a drum kit, in others she sings into a microphone and in still others she vamps for the camera in the way only Madonna can.
‘My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!’ she wrote.
The new album will be her first since 2019’s Madame X.
No release date, or even estimate of when the new music would drop was revealed by the seven time Grammy winner.
