Though he stands 50th in line for the British throne, Cassius Taylor has claimed the top spot as the nation’s most eligible bachelor, often referred to as Britain’s ‘coolest royal’.
This part-time DJ, who carries the legacy as the grandson of the Duke of Kent—Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin—was named Cassius after the legendary Cassius Clay, later known as Muhammad Ali, in honor of his Boxing Day birth.
Recently, Cassius graced the decks at the prestigious Fabric nightclub in London. Just a few months prior, he was rubbing shoulders with the royals at the traditional Christmas lunch hosted at Buckingham Palace.
In a delightful flashback to 2001, a four-year-old Cassius was seen on the Buckingham Palace balcony, guided by the Queen Mother, his great-great-aunt, as he honed his royal wave for the Trooping the Colour celebration.
Now, as the younger son of Lady Helen Taylor and art dealer Timothy Taylor—who operates galleries in Mayfair and New York—Cassius has been crowned Britain’s most charming single man by Hello! magazine.
During an interview from his family’s cozy mews house in London, Cassius expressed that his name is his “greatest gift from my parents,” adding that it serves as “the ultimate ice-breaker.”
Cassius is not a working royal but has carved out a career as a music event ‘curator’. His ambitions are simple: ‘Meet great people, throw great parties, stay healthy,’ he tells Hello!.
His passion for music began aged 12 when Lady Helen took him to see Oasis at Wembley, where he recalls his mother embarrassing him.
He says: ‘I still remember being in the seats and getting awkward because my mother wouldn’t stop dancing.’
The Taylors attend Glastonbury together, with Cassius making the pilgrimage for the past seven years.
It is his dream to play at Worthy Farm but he has already ticked off one goal, performing at Fabric last year for Rave To Save, a fundraiser supporting the men’s suicide charity James’ Place.
He says: ‘I’ve had my struggles. And if I can help give back, then I will.’
He stopped short of agreeing to be the wedding DJ for his royal cousins Lady Marina Windsor and Lady Amelia Windsor, both of whom are getting married next year.
Lila makes shorts work of Coachella
Lila Moss and her minuscule shorts made it to Coachella, despite her recently telling Vogue that her dream day included nothing but shopping, an early night and lots of matcha.
The recently single, willowy daughter of Kate Moss, shook off her ‘clean girl’ image to attend the California festival – which featured Madonna duetting with Sabrina Carpenter – with Stella Jones, daughter of The Clash frontman Mick Jones.
Stella is dating Sir Paul McCartney’s grandson Elliot Donald, and the nepo tribe appeared en masse to live up to their blue-blooded rock’n’roll ancestry. Or try to…

King Charles has been flogging all sorts through the Highgrove gift shop, including bee hotels. Now news reaches me that he’s even selling wallpaper featuring images of his own garden at Highgrove for £266 a roll. Socialite and former Vogue journalist Plum Sykes isn’t impressed, saying: ‘If Meghan was doing that there would be a media storm but somehow, because it’s the King, it’s all very chic.’
Supermodel Cara Delevingne is finding it hard to settle down. In the two years since her LA pad burnt down in the wildfires that engulfed the city, she’s bought and sold two houses, both in the region of £8million and the second of which was previously owned by actress Jennifer Lawrence.
Now Cara has bought another £8million pad in Beverly Hills from interior designer Austin Harrelson. The question is: how long will she stay?

Is Victoria Beckham on the warpath? I only ask because when Kim Turnbull, the girlfriend of Lady B’s son Romeo, took to TikTok to detail her six‑step skincare routine, there wasn’t a VB Beauty product in sight. Instead, Kim told her followers that her faves come from Allies Of Skin.
