Noel Gallagher’s ex-wife Meg Mathews has shared snaps of her concert outfit as she leads the stars heading to Wembley to watch Oasis. 

The columnist and activist, 59, who is the mother of Noel’s daughter Anaïs, 25, took to Instagram on Friday. 

She shared she would be attending the historic concert, marking the Britpop band’s return to Wembley Stadium for the first time since their Dig Out Your Soul tour on July 12, 2009.

For the gig, Meg opted for a laid-back look, wearing a white and red striped Adidas bomber jacket, complemented by a white t-shirt and matching jeans, along with several pieces of gold jewelry.

Before the concert, Meg fondly recalled Oasis’s earlier London performances, mentioning how little Anaïs, who was just seven months old at the time, was as proud of her father then as she is today.

She said: ‘Reflecting on 25 years ago when @Oasis rocked the stadium with 70,000 fans, and Franny fru fru, Pippy la la, Rose & Ra Ra, @lexyroche made it right to the front barrier don’t know how we did it.

‘Now gearing up for tonight’s show with 90,000 attendees. Time flies, memories remain. Anaïs only 7 months old then to watching her now so proud of her dad , a full circle that was me just 2 years older than nai nai running around. 

‘Tonight will be a celebration of family and friends, a moment to cherish. Seated this time, but the excitement remains just as strong. Here’s to another 25 years of music and memories.’

Elsewhere Anaïs hinted that she was also heading to the Wembley gig as she shared a snap of the screens at Piccadilly Circus, which featured an advert for Oasis Live. 

Another star who is heading to the highly-anticipated gig is Rob Beckett, who took to Instagram to share his excitement. 

His wife Lou posted a clip of the comedian in his outfit for the gig before he travelled there. 

Rob sported an Oasis merchandise t-shirt along with trainers and a pair of white crew golf socks.

He also wore a pair of black Stone Island shorts (£300), and a black patterned Stone Island pull-over – thought to cost around £800 – was wrapped around his waist. 

Rob captioned a picture of his ensemble: ‘Maybe I don’t really wanna know… How your garden grows… ‘Cause I just wanna fly.’

Oasis-fever officially hit London on Friday as the band return to the capital to play their first gig there in more than 16 years.

After a run of homecoming gigs in Manchester’s Heaton Park, the rock and roll stars, fronted by Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel, will take to the stage at London’s Wembley Stadium tonight. 

Fans pitched up at the venue 12 hours before the start having paid at least £151 per ticket – but some have paid £564 or more for the best seats.

The band announced their highly anticipated reunion tour in August last year, after Noel quit in 2009 after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

With five nights scheduled, the group posted door and stage timings on their Instagram account with an hour-by-hour breakdown of the evening, starting with the gates opening at 5pm.

The night will kick off from 6pm with the rock band Cast, followed by singer Richard Ashcroft at 7pm.

Oasis will then take the stage for a two-hour set at 8.15pm.

The group kicked off their Oasis Live ’25 world tour on July 4 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, receiving five star reviews from critics at The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Times.

Fans were queueing this morning ahead of the biggest gig London has seen for years

The group has also dominated the UK album charts, with three top five albums, according to the Official Charts Company.

While fans were excited at the reunion, some were outraged after some standard tickets in the UK and Ireland jumped from £148 to £355.

The controversy prompted the Government and the UK’s competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing.

After their final London gig on August 3, the group will move north to Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium before performing at Dublin’s Croke Park. The band will then head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America.

Formed in Manchester in 1991, the band was led by lead guitarist Noel and lead vocalist Liam during their 18 years together.

Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994.

They had hits with songs including Don’t Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever.

Dig Out Your Soul, the band’s last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before the Paris row.
