Megan McKenna revealed on Monday that her earlobes have become infected after getting new piercings earlier this year. 

In her kitchen, dressed in pink floral pajamas, she sang about her infected earlobes, which have been troubling her since getting them pierced months ago.

The former TOWIE star, 28, showed off her bandages as she turned her head side to side and branded the entire ordeal ‘an absolute nightmare’.

Megan continued: ‘You don’t even want to see the state of them… I’m thinking of posting a picture but it’s not for the faint hearted.’ 

The reality star looked worried as she explained the rigmarole from her kitchen as she sipped on a hot drink. 

She showcased her natural beauty and went make-up free for the video with her hair in a relaxed bun as she showcased her injuries for her followers. 

Moving swiftly on from her ailments, Megan then said: ‘But enough about my earlobes I am so excited for tomorrow night’s episode of Masterchef.’ 

She avoided showing them as she brandished her bandages, turning her head from side to side, dubbing the experience ‘an absolute nightmare’.

Megan is currently participating in this year’s Celebrity Masterchef, accompanied by fellow contestants like Katie Price, Su Pollard, Gavin Esler, Dion Dublin, Kadeena Cox, Nabil Abdulrashid, Rita Simmons, Michelle Collins, Penny Lancaster, Joe Swash, Johannes Radebe, Kem Cetinay, Melissa Johns, Patrick Grant, and Munya Chawawa. 

Speaking of Monday night’s episode on her Instagram story, Megan gushed: ‘I’m so glad my champagne chicken went down well.’  

And it’s no surprise Megan is a whizz in the kitchen as she previously owned her own restaurant MCK Grill. 

In the first look trailer, the reality star told the camera: ‘I’m actually buzzing,’ as she grinned at her culinary success.

In the new series, the celebrities will tackle a new selection of cookery challenges over six weeks. 

Renowned chefs including Tom Kerridge, Nisha Katona, Nieves Barragan Mohacho and more are also set to appear as special guest judges. 

The 2020 series of Celebrity MasterChef was won by Irish-Iraqi broadcaster and YouTube star Riyadh Khalaf. 

Taking to Instagram on Monday for the launch of the show, Megan looked upbeat as she posed with her thumbs up in front of the blue Masterchef logo.
