Neighbours star Ashleigh Brewer has announced she is expecting her first child with her film producer husband Mark Bauch.

The couple shared the happy news with friends and fans on Instagram on Sunday, just weeks after tying the knot. 

Aussie soap star Ashleigh, who is best known for playing Kate Ramsey in the iconic soap, showed off her bare baby bump in a sweet black and photo.   

The actress looked glowing as she proudly cradled her growing baby bump in an unbuttoned white shirt and jeans.

The mum-to-be simply captioned the post: ‘We are so excited.’

Ashleigh’s friends including a number of her co-stars were quick to congratulate the couple as they took to the comments.

While the pair’s co-star Jane Hall commented: ‘You look RADIANT my darling!! All the love in the world to you from the student midwife back home XXXXX.’

Neighbours legend Scott Major penned: ‘Oh Wow! So excited for you LG!’

The actress, who is also known for her role as Chelsea Campbell on rival Aussie soap Home & Away, also revealed more details about her pregnancy during an appearance on Aussie podcast Stellar.

Ashleigh’s baby news comes just weeks after she revealed that she and long term partner Mark had tied the knot.

In a post uploaded to her Instagram last month, the actress revealed that her and Mark, who she had been engaged to since January 2024, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony last November.

Ashleigh looked stunning in her wedding dress, while the happy couple were pictured in a car.

Ashleigh and Mark have been dating since April 2022.

She was previously linked to Hollywood executive Zac Frognowski.

Ashleigh shot to fame in 2009 on Australian screens playing Kate Ramsay on Network Ten soap Neighbours.

She also played Chelsea Campbell on Home and Away between 2018 and 2019.
