Peacock is set to take its audience into the dwelling of an alleged serial killer with the release of a new three-part documentary series, The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets.

This riveting documentary will explore the purported offenses and secret life of Rex Heuermann, a former architect from Long Island who was apprehended in connection with the crimes in July 2023. Authorities have tied him to seven murders, and it is suspected there may be more victims.

Unlike the Netflix documentary Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer, which explored the discovery of the Gilgo Four culminating in Heuermann’s arrest, The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets provides unique insight into Heuermann’s private life. The series will take viewers inside the suspect’s Long Island residence, including interactions with his wife and children as they finally confront the possibility of being aware of his alleged actions.

“The question everyone keeps asking is, ‘How could you not know?’” his wife, Asa Ellerup, says in the trailer.

The official trailer from Peacock, which can be viewed at the top of this page, gives a chilling look at the inside of Heuermann’s home where he seemingly led a double life as a father, Manhattan architect, and alleged serial killer.

One chilling scene in the trailer shows Heuermann’s wife on the phone with him in jail. When he asks how she’s doing she replies, “I’m doing great now that I’ve got you on the phone.”

The documentary project hails from Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G-Unit Film and Television, Texas Crew Productions, part of Pantheon Media Group, and New York Post Entertainment.

How to watch The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets:
