Randall Emmett is finally speaking out about his messy split from Lala Kent, who accused him of cheating numerous times after moving out of their Bel Air home in October 2021.

While appearing on friend Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi‘s podcast, the film producer and director said that when it came to the dramatic end of his years-long relationship with the Vanderpump Rules cast member, he wasn’t the only one who made mistakes.

“I’ve made mistakes, she’s made mistakes, but I’m never going to bring that to light because that’s just not right,” Randall said in a sneak peek at his Wednesday appearance on Genuinely GG, via Page Six. “For me, I just don’t feel it’s appropriate. I can’t tell her what to do. She’s a strong woman, and I just hope that in time that kind of all mellows out.”

After photos surfaced of Randall with two women in Nashville last October, Lala said on numerous occasions that her former fiancé had been unfaithful — and noted that his alleged cheating began when she was pregnant with their daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, now 1, and he was allegedly hooking up with a 23-year-old woman.

Lala also noted that Randall’s reported cheating was a “repeated behavior” and called him the “worst thing to ever happen or come into [her] life.”

Still, during his conversation with GG, of Shahs of Sunset, Randall said he will “never disparage” Lala.

“She’s the mother of my child, so no matter what happens in life, I will never disparage or talk ill about her because she’s Ocean’s mom,” he said. “The truth is, I just always have to look at the big picture, which is she’s the mother of Ocean, and I just can’t talk badly about the mother of my child. I just can’t do it — no matter what is said about me or what she says.”

According to Randall, he “will never go into” his feelings about his and Lala’s breakup because he believes his view on the situation is “not relevant on a public platform.”

He also suggested that while he has taken accountability for his actions, Lala hasn’t done the same.

“I just feel like what I’m going through and what I’ve gone through, my mistakes and my accountability in that, she also has a side to it, which again, I will never go into, but I feel like at the end of the day, we have Ocean, we have this beautiful girl that is the most important thing,” he noted.

Then, after admitting he’s become “more patient” and “more tolerant” of haters in the months since he and Lala split, Randall said his friends and family “know who I am.”

“We had a relationship, and we broke up, and we made mistakes, and she made mistakes,” he added.
