In a somber turn of events, renowned rapper Young Bleed, whose real name was Glenn Clifton Jr., has passed away at the age of 51. His untimely death on Saturday was attributed to complications arising from a brain aneurysm, as reported by TMZ.

Young Bleed was admitted to the hospital only days before his passing. He was placed in the intensive care unit, where he remained on a ventilator, fighting for his life. The aneurysm was reportedly caused by internal bleeding, according to Tameka Long, the mother of his 10-year-old son.

On Monday, the rapper’s son, Ty’Gee Ramon, shared the heart-wrenching news with fans and followers through an emotional Instagram video. In his tribute, Ramon spoke about his father’s significant influence on the music industry and poignantly mentioned that Young Bleed “gained his wings” on November 1.

Despite the sudden nature of his passing, Ramon noted that his father did not suffer from any major health issues leading up to the weekend. However, Young Bleed did manage high blood pressure with medication, a condition he had under control.

The late star’s son Ty’Gee Ramon confirmed his father’s shock death in an emotional Instagram video on Monday – where he reflected on Young Bleed’s impact on the music industry and revealed he ‘gained his wings’ on November 1.

Ramon said that his father did not have ‘real health issues’ leading up to his death over the past weekend, but added the performer had high blood pressure which he took medication for.

Young Bleed had been known for hits such as How Ya Do That – which was included on the 1997 soundtrack for the film I’m Bout It.

In the clip shared by Ramon, he could be seen sitting on a couch as he told his followers and fans of his late father, ‘As of November 1st, my dad gained his wings.

‘This is a tough topic for me – not sure how it’s gonna go. But I am here to clear up a lot of false narratives.’

He added, ‘But I know with him being a legend worldwide, people are concerned for him, they wasn’t sure what they heard. So I’m here to confirm as his oldest child that he has gained his wings.’

Ramon then explained ‘what happened’ to the rapper and said, ‘So, my dad didn’t have no real health issues. These are just chapters in life.

‘And I hope after this video that people that have went through the same thing or going through grieving moments find peace in this video here.’

Young Bleed’s son expressed, ‘So, my dad – like most as you get in age – had high blood pressure. He’d take his medicine and you know, do what you do as a celebrity. So, not much.’

Late last month on October 24, the late rapper performed at The Cash Money vs No Limit VERZUZ event in Las Vegas.

His father also attended an after party ‘and that’s where you know, everything kind of spiked’ while Ramon also shared it had been ‘more of a natural thing that caused this to happen to him.’
