Robert Irwin has unveiled his new dance partner for the forthcoming season of Dancing with the Stars US, and there’s a particularly intriguing aspect about the blonde beauty.

Witney Carson, a professional Latin ballroom dancer and choreographer, bears a striking resemblance to Robert’s ex-girlfriend Rorie Buckey.

This 31-year-old, introduced as the conservationist’s dance companion this week, possesses the same charming smile and sun-kissed hair as Robert’s ex-girlfriend.

Witney also appears to have similarly shaped features to Rorie, 21, who is the niece of the late great actor Heath Ledger.

The pair share nearly identical eyes and noses, as well as a lookalike grin.

Robert, 21, who parted ways with Rorie in February 2024, appeared cheerful as he posed with his dance partner in a series of photos posted on Instagram on Friday.

In his typical Wildlife Warrior style, Robert was holding an enormous white and yellow python around his body.

Witney also joined in the fun, grinning as she snuggled up to Robert while donning a fitted pink dress and allowing a snake to coil around her torso.

The caption simply read, ‘Robert & Witney,’ with a snake and star emoji next to it, along with the hashtag ‘#DWTS’.

Robert and Rorie announced their breakup in early February 2024 with a joint statement on their social media, expressing that they had ‘decided to go their separate ways’.

‘We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways but profoundly appreciate all the time spent together and wish one another all the very best into the future,’ they said.

‘We wish to express the gratitude and respect we have for one another as we continue our journeys on different paths.

‘We won’t be commenting further on this, and really appreciate your respect and privacy at this time.’

The couple were believed to have been dating since November 2022, but they went Instagram official almost a year later in August 2023.

It comes as Robert is set to star in the upcoming American season of Dancing with the Stars.

His stint on the series was revealed in April, following his smouldering American ad campaign for Bonds.

The Aussie TV star was officially confirmed to be appearing on the show by Variety – and appeared in high spirits as he landed in Los Angeles ahead of filming.

Robert’s appearance on the competitive dancing series marks a decade since his sister Bindi’s triumphant win on the show in 2015 alongside her dancing partner Derek Hough.
