Ryan Seacrest, in a surprisingly candid moment, shared insights into his personal life during an episode of “Wheel of Fortune.” The 51-year-old host, immersed in the show’s “Love Is in the Air” theme, found himself reflecting on romance as couples competed on the iconic game show.

Amidst the atmosphere of affection, Seacrest addressed viewers with a confession: he’s been exploring the world of Tinder following his split from model Aubrey Paige nearly two years ago.

“I love ‘Love Is in the Air,'” he quipped, humorously adding, “And I’ll be on Tinder tonight, so I can find it.”

His co-host, Vanna White, recently married to John Donaldson, playfully assured, “Love will be in the air next time. I promise.”

Throughout the episode, as three couples vied for victory, Seacrest continued to open up about navigating singlehood, offering an unexpected peek into his personal journey amidst the show’s competitive spirit.

But as the episode went on – and three couples battled it out – Seacrest got even more candid about his single status.

The 51-year-old host couldn’t help but be influenced by Monday’s ‘Love Is in the Air’ theme, which saw couples competing on the long-running game show

‘I am so lonely up here,’ he admitted with a smile, leaving viewers both amused and sympathetic.

The candid confession comes almost a year after Seacrest revealed he was feeling ‘depressed’ about being single following his split from longtime girlfriend Paige.

He opened up about his romantic struggles during a May 2025 episode of American Idol, after a contestant performed a heartfelt love ballad. 

‘I’ve never been more depressed to be single than right now in this moment,’ Seacrest admitted.

The Wheel of Fortune host and Paige ended their relationship amicably in 2024, agreeing to remain part of each other’s lives. 

A source at the time said: ‘After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways. 

‘They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors.’

The couple shared many happy memories, including several career milestones.

On Seacrest’s final day on Live! With Kelly and Ryan in April 2023, Paige posted a heartfelt Instagram tribute featuring three photos of the pair – two on the golf course and one with their heads close together, headphones on, in what appeared to be a helicopter.

‘Ryan, never have I ever met a more inspiring man,’ she wrote. ‘You make it look so easy, but the truth is there is just nobody quite like you. 

‘I am so beyond proud of you. Not just for your work ethic, but for your caring heart and the genuine love that you give to others.’

Paige added: ‘I am so excited for this next chapter of your life and our life. May it be filled with total presence, joy and relaxation in every single moment. The best is yet to come. Cheers. Love ya, babe.’

Before dating Paige, Seacrest was involved with Hilary Cruz for just over a year and later with model Shayna Taylor from 2017 to 2020. 

He also famously dated dancer and actress Julianne Hough for three years, from 2010 to 2013.

Hough reflected on their relationship during an appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, explaining she initially worried people might think she was using Seacrest’s fame. 

‘The rug was swept up from underneath me, and I was just flying, and I was experiencing things that I didn’t even know existed,’ she said.

‘But then I had this insecurity that I was like, “I don’t ever want anybody to think that I’m with him for this reason.” And so I then started playing smaller.’

‘I didn’t think about what people thought. I was just wrestling on the inside… I definitely was in full self-preservation mode, so I was only concerned about me,’ Hough admitted. 

Seacrest has also been romantically linked to actresses Teri Hatcher and Shana Wall. 

While fans are focused on his love life, Seacrest’s career continues to thrive. 

He officially took over as host of Wheel of Fortune in 2024, stepping into the role previously held by Pat Sajak, who had been at the helm for nearly four decades.

Seacrest first rose to fame as a radio host, starting in Atlanta before moving to Los Angeles and eventually taking over the nationally syndicated American Top 40. 

His big break on television came in 2002 when he became co-host of American Idol, a role that would make him a household name. 

Over the years, he has also hosted high-profile live events, including the Academy Awards red carpet, the Golden Globes pre-show, and New Year’s Eve specials, establishing himself as one of the most recognizable hosts in entertainment.
