They were front and centre to attend one of his girlfriend’s favourite designer’s New York Fashion Week show.
But if Lara Bingle and partner Sam Worthington were excited about what they were about to see, they certainly weren’t showing it.
The couple cut a very serious figure as they attended the 2014 Fall/Winter Alexander Wang show on Saturday.

Focused on their style: Lara Bingle and Sam Worthington were all seriousness as they attended the Fall/Winter 2014 Alexander Wang Fashion Show in New York on Saturday.
Despite having a few fashion missteps in the past, Lara looked elegant in a sleek sheer black blouse paired with a tuxedo jacket. On the other hand, Sam seemed to miss the mark by wearing a woolly beanie while sitting in the front row.
Also sporting a bristling beard and mustache, the actor stood out like a sore thumb in his headgear.
While Lara was serious front row, she did however beam in an Instagram snap of herself posing with man of the moment Wang backstage.

Baby it’s cold outside! Lara and Sam bundled up for the cold New York conditions as they stepped out earlier in the day

She proudly captioned the snap: ‘Incredible Man. @alexanderwangny xx’
For her third day at fashion week Lara experienced a coup with her all-black ensemble.
The swimwear model and designer also applied a heavy application of burgundy lipstick to give her overall look a splash of colour.

Taking a walk on the wild side: Lara covered her face with a leopard print scarf
The look comes after Lara managed to have two fashion fails in a matter of two days.
On Friday, the 26-year-old rolled up to both the Zimmermann and Rebecca Vallance shows in a monochrome ensemble.
At first glance, the attire appeared chic, but the unflattering black baggy trousers tucked into leather thigh high boots let her down.

Feeling blue: Sam dressed from head-to-toe in navy blue for the outing
On the top, the swimwear model and designer fared much better in a white T-shirt worn underneath a leather motorcycle jacket.
She attended the show alongside her new bestie Nicole Trunfio.
The girls had a ball as they supported the Aussie designers throughout the night.

Hectic schedule: The night before, Lara attended the Rebecca Vallance fashion event with fellow Australian model Nicole Trunfio, sporting baggy black trousers tucked into thigh-high leather boots.
While Lara, who is currently covering NYFW for Oyster magazine, stayed in the same outfit, Nicole changed from a floral cropped top and leather mini skirt to a little black dress.
During the evening, Lara posted a snap of the gal pals cuddling up and laughing on the Zimmermann catwalk.
Sam let the ladies have a girls’ night out, but the evening before he accompanied Lara to the Dion Lee Fashion Show on Thursday.

Matronly: The swimwear model and designer donned this matronly grey dress the night before on Thursday at the Dion Lee show

That’s better! Lara and Sam managed a small smile as they cuddled up at the event
During the evening, Lara tried to up her game with an edgy outfit, but the grey tunic-inspired dress she wore ended up looking rather matronly.

Snuggle time: Lara snuggled into Sam as they went for a stroll earlier in the week
Meanwhile, Sam was dressed simply in a black V-neck and navy winter coat, but for Lara her choice was unfortunately an instance of a risk not paying off.
The tweed ensemble appeared to swap the 1.68m model, and featured a complex light grey peplum-style top and a bizarre long skirt in a darker hue that parted at the front to reveal a shorter mini.
The attire also featured a white pleat at the front and black trim on the shoulders adding even more confusion to the outfit.
Luckily Lara simply paired the dress with some black thigh high boots that were just visible under the frock.
She pulled her hair back into a bun and once again opted for minimal make-up.
Lara and Sam have only been together for four months, and made their first public appearance together at the Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts awards in Sydney last week.
Following the awards ceremony they jetted to New York to attend the Fall/Winter Fashion week that kicked off in New York on Thursday night.
The model will be back in Sydney towards the end of March to promote her affordable swimwear line with Cotton On Body.
She is then expected to accompany Sam to South Australia where he’ll be shooting new Foxtel commissioned miniseries Deadline Gallipoli, that he will executive produce and feature in.
