Popular Nigerian artist Kcee has sparked outrage online for betting N3 million on the Super Eagles of Nigeria to win against host country Cote d’lvoire in the upcoming AFCON 2023 game.

Kcee, who is well-known for taking high-stakes wagers, recently shared a snapshot of his newest gambling attempt on Instagram.

Recall that Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ first Group A encounter against Equatorial Guinea finished in a 1-1 tie on January 14th.

The second encounter will be against the host country, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), tomorrow, January 18th, 2023. The Super Eagles’ final encounter in the group will be against Guinea Bissau on Monday, January 22, 2023.

Kcee did, however, tell the Super Eagles team that his money is on them.

If the Nigerian National Team wins, the 3 million bet on the Super Eagles versus the Ivory Coast will be worth N11.7 million.

Kcee shared the pictures displaying the stake and said, “Let’s do this again.” Super eagles! My money is on you, people!!! “Eagles, let us soar high!!!”
