Grammy Award winning singer Tori Kelly is pregnant!

The 32-year-old former American Idol contestant revealed that she is expecting her first child with basketball player husband Andre Murillo.

The news for the Paper Hearts hitmaker and 35-year-old athlete comes at an interesting time as she is currently touring with Ed Sheeran in Europe.

Tori released a statement to People on Thursday which read: ‘This year has already been full of highs — getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career and now getting to start a family with my amazing husband.

‘We are just so grateful for what’s to come and can’t wait to meet this little gift from God.’

Tori and German basketball player Andre got married in May 2018 after announcing their engagement in September 2017.

André and Tori reportedly have been together since December 2016.

No doubt Andre has been Tori’s rock as back in July 2023, she was hospitalized with a life-threatening condition.

Fans of the songwriter were concerned when multiple reports came out that Tori had collapsed while dining out with friends in Los Angeles on July 24, 2023.

Her friends reportedly rushed her to Cedars-Sinai for emergency medical treatment, where doctors discovered multiple blood clots around the WIldomar-born singer’s vital organs.

Thanks to the quick diligence of her friends and the expert medical care, the Cut singer was able to recover relatively quickly.

She posted her first update for her fans on social media three days after her scary collapse, writing in a letter that, ‘Hi friends, as you may have heard, I’m dealing with some unexpected health challenges.’

‘It’s been a scary few days but I can feel your prayers and can’t stop thinking about you,’ the former American Idol contestant wrote.

Adding that she was ‘heartbroken’ that her health scare resulted in a delay of her new EP at the time, the Nobody Love singer noted that, ‘I won’t let this hurdle prevent the music from being yours….I love you all so much and I’m truly overwhelmed by all the love and care.’
