Tabitha Willett, known for her role on “Made In Chelsea,” has quietly tied the knot with affluent businessman Harry Hoare, merely four months after they revealed their engagement.

The television star took her followers by surprise when she announced her wedding plans to Harry Hoare, son of the late stockbroker Timothy Hoare, who was once a friend of the former royal, Sarah Ferguson. The couple’s engagement was made public in November.

Their wedding was also formally noted in The Times, appearing on the newspaper’s births, marriages, and deaths page at the time of the announcement.

Currently expecting their first child together, the 33-year-old Willett is already a mother to six-year-old Ottilie, from a previous relationship with Fraser Carruthers. She exchanged vows with Hoare at Chelsea Town Hall.

On Wednesday, Willett shared a whimsical video on Instagram, showing her and Hoare on the steps of the iconic King’s Road venue, enveloped in a shower of confetti from their guests.

For the ceremony, Willett broke away from traditional bridal wear, choosing a chic cream trouser suit and a wide-brimmed hat, while Hoare looked dapper in a classic two-piece suit.

Standing alongside her mother, Ottilie appears to serve as one of Willett’s bridesmaids, with the youngster wearing a conventional white lace dress.

Captioning the brief clip, she wrote: ‘My feed is full of AI April fool’s so I thought I would just leave this here…’

A separate video shared by Willet six days ago suggested she was preparing for the ceremony, with the TV personality inviting followers to ‘get ready with me for a day I’ll never forget.’

News of Willett’s engagement would no doubt have come as a surprise to Made In Chelsea fans, who watched her brief romance with co-star Arman Pouladian-Kari play out on screen shortly before it was announcement.

The TV personality revealed she and Hoare had known each other ‘for years’ before getting together romantically.

Writing for The Wedding Edition, she said: ‘We stayed in contact but were never close. It was actually January 1st 2025, at my most single, after putting on my vision board for the year that I wanted to find love…

‘That I replied to an Instagram story of his saying we should grab a drink and catch up soon. He loves telling the story that I “slid into his DMs”.

‘We went for a drink, our first date lasted three days, and I called my best friend Ollie Locke after he left and said, “I am going to marry this man.”

‘It sounds quite unromantic, but I think in your 30s, and as parents (Harry has a daughter too), you want to be sure you are not wasting any time. It was a discussion we had right from the beginning.

‘We aligned on everything and it all felt very uncomplicated. Not full of fire or passion, just easy.’

When Hoare finally proposed during their stay at The Lana, a new hotel which is a part of the Dorchester Collection, he did so with a ‘placeholder ring’, while she wore a long white dress with a cape.

Ahead of the proposal they were enjoying the sunset from the rooftop bar, before returning to their room so that Harry could ‘grab something’ before dinner

Hoare’s wealthy stockbroker father Timothy passed away aged 69 in 2019.

His funeral, held in London, was attended by Sarah Ferguson, then the Duchess of York, her daughters Princess Eugenie and Beatrice, and Sir Bob Geldof.

The millionaire financier lived at the Grade-II listed Hollycombe House in Liphook, Hampshire, with his wife Virginia, which they filled with treasured antiques.

A prized painting by the late surrealist Salvador Dali, various ornaments and pieces of valuable furniture from the property were sold at auction in 2021.

Timothy, who attended prestigious private school Eton, was very close to Geldof, the prominent singer-songwriter who organised the Band Aid campaign to raise money for Ethiopian famine victims in the 1980s.

The financier had been married three times and had five children.

He founded the successful brokering operation T Hoare & Co in 1993, which helped fund mining projects around the world.

Described by the Daily Mail’s Sebastian Shakespeare as a ‘once-Falstaffian, popular figure’, he famously shot a leopard dead in Tanzania in 2006.

Willett, who raises Ottilie with former partner Carruthers, originally joined the Made In Chelsea cast in 2018, during their annual trip to Croatia.

A tumultuous year on the show saw her hit it off with Miles Nazaire before secretly dating Sam Prince.

She left in 2019, but has since returned for its 29th and 30th series’, during which she embarked on a short-lived romance with Arman Pouladian-Kari.

Viewers watched as she ended her brief relationship with the DJ after discovering he was still close with his ex, Yasmine Zweegers – only to reunite for a secret tryst.

The TV personality announced her separation from club mogul Carruthers in 2020 after the coronavirus pandemic forced the couple to postpone their wedding that July.

She told Instagram followers at the time: ‘After months of consideration and many long and thoughtful conversations, Fraser and I have decided to separate. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly hard time for us as a family.

‘This year has provided so many uncertainties and forced us to postpone and eventually cancel our wedding as well as being new and full time parents and government closures of businesses.

‘Ottilie is our world and remains our number one priority. We also share so much love and respect for one another and our beautiful daughter and we are eager for her to grow up watching us mature into a modern family, as close friends.

‘Fraser is the most incredible father and it fills me with great sadness that we have been unable to make our relationship work.’
