Teen Mom personality Cheyenne Floyd recently discussed her fertility challenges as she and her husband, Zach Davis, are trying to have their second child, according to a preview shared exclusively with In Touch.
In a sneak peek for the Thursday, April 3, episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, 32-year-old Cheyenne revealed she’s trying to avoid becoming “stressed,” noting that “stress is apparently one of the reasons I’m not getting pregnant.”
As Cheyenne continued to struggle to become pregnant, she explained that her sister, R KyleLynn Floyd, suggested that she do a “vaginal steaming.”
“I’ve never tried it before, but I’ve heard it can help with stress relief, so I booked a session to give it a shot with my friend Zaina,” Cheyenne narrated in a voiceover as she arrived at a spa.
A vaginal steaming is “an age-old natural remedy said to cleanse the vagina and uterus, regulate menstruation and ease period cramps and bloating,” according to Healthline. The process “directs herb-infused steam into your vagina” as you “sit or squat over a container of herbal-infused steam.”
Once Cheyenne and Zaina made it to the spa, they were instructed to straddle the pot. “It’s gonna help, you know, balance you out and it’s a good detoxing,” the employee explained.
The friends quickly expressed their discomfort, and Cheyenne said the steam was “hot as f–k.” However, Zaina reminded her that they were participating in the vaginal steaming for specific reasons. “You think fertility,” she told Cheyenne. “I’ll think hormone balance.”
Cheyenne quickly got her and Zaina’s minds off the steam by sharing an update about her last doctor’s appointment about her fertility. “I know it’s gonna sound bad, but when we came back and did the second appointment and she’s like, ‘Oh no, now he’s fine. Now it’s you,’” Cheyenne recalled about Zach’s sperm count. “And then it kind of like, was it, it’s like, damn.”
While she said she was “happy” to learn that Zach didn’t have any issues, Cheyenne admitted she felt more pressure to conceive. “I was not trying to get pregnant when I got pregnant with Ryder. Now I’m trying and it’s not working,” she said. “Like, that whole mind game. The pressure’s on to get pregnant.”
Cheyenne continued to reflect on her journey to become pregnant in a confessional. “Walking out of that last appointment, finding out that we may or may not be able to have another baby naturally was tough,” she said. “I think I’m, like, getting a crash course on fertility, honestly. Which I think is weird to say because I have two kids.”

“I have a bad habit of giving myself unrealistic timelines for things,” the MTV star said. “And the older I get, the more I’ve learned that it’s not on my time and to accept God’s timing. Um, and that’s kind of where I’m at with it now.”
Cheyenne is already the mother to daughter Ryder, 8, with ex Cory Wharton and son Ace, 3, with Zach, 34.
Teen Mom: The Next Chapter airs on MTV Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
