When will Season 3 be released?

There hasn’t been any official statement regarding the third season of the series. The original network for The Alienist has not renewed the contract for the third season.

Although, we are expecting the third rendition of The Alienist to be released sometime in 2022, if at all the production starts in mid or late 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all the activities have been uncertain and hence it is hard to fathom the production of the third season.

Who can you expect in the cast?

The three main characters of the series end up going in different directions in the finale of season 2. We do want to see them together again hence the following people can be expected to be seen in the season 3 of The Alienist,

  • Daniel Bruhl
  • Luke Evans
  • Dakota Fanning
  • Douglas Smith
  • Matthew Shear

Apart from this, there is a high chance that new faces can be seen in the upcoming season as a different storyline will be brought to you.

What can you expect from season 3 of The Alienist?

Although Caleb Carr has already written the third book of this series, it is quite different from the previous two parts. The show has maintained the consistency of keeping the viewers gripped with their mysterious plots. Part three of this series can have similar expectations. We can say that the murder mysteries will continue, highlighting the social issues of the New York City.
