Thomas Skinner asserts that he will not be canceled and claims his marriage is as solid as ever, even after admitting to an affair with an attractive single mother just before his debut on Strictly Come Dancing.
The former Apprentice contestant has been teamed up with Welsh ballroom dancer Amy Dowden for the latest season of the enduring BBC series, which made its return to public television on Saturday night.
However, Skinner’s involvement has been overshadowed by negative media coverage following his confession of infidelity to his wife Sinead, with a woman he met in a pub, mere weeks after their nuptials.
Additionally, the TV star’s political affiliations have generated backlash on social media after he attended a barbecue hosted by JD Vance, the second in command to US President Donald Trump—an event Skinner later described as a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience.
Compounding the issue are fresh claims suggesting his affair continued over several months, contradicting his previous statement that it was a one-time incident.
Posting on X on Sunday, just hours after dancing for the first time with his Strictly partner Dowden, a determined Skinner declared he will not be defeated by the persistent controversy.
