The hottest actors over age 50 were named on Thursday.

The power list is the Hottest Actors Over 50 from AARP’s Movies for Grownups.

The names were announced by Sam Champion on Good Morning America and include some interesting picks aside from the usual suspects: Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Surprisingly, Jennifer Lopez’s former spouse Ben Affleck was not among them.

The list features actors in their 50s, 60s and 70s whose ‘enduring appeal transcends generations,’ the publication stated.

Each of these 25 men excels at his craft—among them, they have amassed 215 Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy nominations and 35 wins.

‘They also exude the kind of magnetism, vibrancy, heart and soul that amounts to that rare, intangible superpower: star quality,’ AARP noted.

Noah Wyle, 54:

Interesting tidbit: Off-screen, Pitt, a leading actor, collects various odds and ends, including walking canes and items related to his biblical namesake and his vessel, Noah’s Ark. ‘I’m a pack rat. I’m a junker. I’m a picker. You name it, I collect it.’

George Clooney, 64:

On his success: ‘I think the only life lesson is to bet on yourself. And when there’s opportunities, you gotta go. In my life, I have been the recipient of a lot of luck. But I also believe you create opportunity for luck. You create enough opportunity and, every once in a while, you’ll hit one.’

On his longevity: ‘There’s no rhyme or reason for who gets to age and who doesn’t. So you should live as if you’re not going to get to. And then, if you wake up one day and you’re old, you’ve lived a really full life.’

Colman Domingo, 55:

On current events: ‘The world truly is on fire everywhere you turn. (People) need to have hope and believe that they can do something, that they can use their intelligence, their heart, their mind, their bodies to create the world that they want to live in.’

Domingo, who once joined the circus and learned to climb ropes and walk on stilts, says: ‘I have the heart of a clown, and I want to keep the heart of a clown in everything that I do.’

Morris Chestnut, 56:

‘I don’t know what’s hot, but I’ve been around a long time and to make any list is an honor,’ says Watson’s smoke show.

Daniel Craig, seen in Casino Royale in 2006, was also named

He credits 4 a.m. workouts for his (wowza!) physique. ‘I’ve been going to the gym and working out for decades. I want to be in great shape and keep improving—not just physically; it’s also mentally.’

His biggest challenge: ‘I can literally eat sweets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But that’s part of the discipline of nutrition—not always having what you want, when you want it.’

Rob Lowe, 61

‘I’ve run into enough young people who don’t know who Paul Newman is, so I’m aware of how fleeting people’s memories can be,’ the Brat Packer says.

On his days off: ‘I sleep in, have my coffee in bed. I do my prayers and meditation. I spend some time with the dogs. I go to the gym. I’ll check in on business. If nothing is pending, I’ll go and play a round of golf or surf and then come back for dinner with my wife at home, and then she’ll want to watch TV. I’ll go to the firepit and have a cup of coffee or something like that, and then off to bed.’

On his pets: ‘Your dogs love you no matter what the ratings are.’

Benjamin Bratt, 61

On staying in shape: ‘Just move! Physical activity, whether through dedicated exercise and sport, or hard physical labor, is foundational to my lifelong sense of well-being.’

Although he admits to ‘dwelling on mortality more often,’ he gets great feedback from wife Talisa. ‘She says, ‘Your hotness will never go out of style.’

Matthew McConaughey, 55

On the ‘outlaw logic’ he lives by: ‘It’s the individualism of my family’s thinking. They’re rule breakers. Don’t follow the flock.’

On tiptoeing into a cage with a mountain lion in Mexico: ‘I was looking for a similar frequency. And I did successfully, thankfully, find a similar frequency, and came away with that mountain lion purring in my lap. Yeahhhh!’

Billy Porter, 55

‘I’m not sure what makes an actor hot,’ the boundary-breaking artist tells AARP.

‘In drama school, they told me I was a leading man. But to be Black, queer, out, and unapologetically authentic—there wasn’t really a space for that…One of the most profound things people come up to me and say is, ‘You created a space for me to understand how to just be me.’…My art is my activism.’
