In line with the arrest of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, Jada Pinkett Smith expressed hope for answers and closure regarding the case.

Pinkett Smith had a close relationship with Tupac and has often shared memories of him publicly. She appeared in his music videos and covered his bail after he was convicted of abuse.

The friendship between Pinkett Smith and Tupac has been a subject of public debate.

Who is Duane “Keffe D” Davis?

According to CBS News, after nearly 30 years of investigation, authorities have announced that Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been indicted for the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis, a former leader of the South Side Compton Crips gang, is the last living suspect in the case. Duane “Keffe D” Davis allegedly planned revenge against Shakur after Shakur and Marion Suge Knight, CEO of Death Row Records, beat Davis’s nephew during a fight at a hotel.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been charged with one count of open murder with a deadly weapon and a gang enhancement. The evidence against Duane “Keffe D” Davis includes interviews he gave to media outlets.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis will appear in court in the coming days for his trial, CBS News added.
