Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting bigger and expanding its territory over the past few years by releasing multiple movies, TV shows, and web series. In 2021, we have come across many of Marvel’s superhero movies and shows and as a fan, we are totally amazed at such diversity. Doctor Strange 2 is Finally Coming on Screen!

Spiderman: No way home came out as an extraordinary movie that not broke the records of the Marvel series but also became a standout from the rest of the movie series. Ever since the movie was announced, fans were already simply over the storyline and there were thousands of questions surfacing regarding the movie and its future. 

While the fans are already loving all the promotions and the teaser video and all but somewhere they are waiting for the release of Doctor Strange 2. As Tom Holland is still jumping on the buildings and marvel has still not figured out the title money that the movie has earned, there are fans who have already watched and now want to know everything about Doctor Strange. 

The viewers are eager to know what would happen in the future of the series because there is so much enclosed in it. The movie was already confirmed to be back. While the actual release date has been postponed and the movie has been delayed a lot of time, we are still waiting for the movie to happen in 2022. 

Surprisingly, the official trailer is already released and fans just couldn’t get enough of how everything looks. Personally, the trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gave me goosebumps. I totally enjoyed the animations and graphics and this is what Marvel is known for. Besides what could possibly happen in the future and plot, the fans are totally loving the teaser that gives much evidence about its upcoming events.

Doctor Strange 2: When is it going to be Released?

The movie sequel has been getting a lot of delays because of various reasons. There were a lot of release dates that were scheduled by the officials. Cutting everything in short, we have the new official release date for Doctor Strange 2 here. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is officially scheduled to release on 6 May 2022. 

Earlier, Marvel confirmed the release of Thor: Love and Thunder on that date but now the film is pushed back to 8 July 2022. Ever since the officials have confirmed the release date for the upcoming movie, fans couldn’t keep themselves calm. 

The sequel is confirmed and it will again travel through the multiverse which will conclude a lot of things that were laid behind in the previous movies. Fans are speculating what could happen after Spider-Man: No way home pr regarding the possibility of expanding the spiderman trilogy. 

The production of the movie has already started way back in 2020. However, there are a lot of speculations regarding the production and delay. The global pandemic has earlier become a big hurdle for the development of the movie and there might be more possible delays. 

Kevin Feige said in an interview, “It’s production shifts and changes, and because we have so many slots, we can just shift slots. So all the Marvel slots are the same, we’re just shifting the movies coming out. And yes, Strange has moved six weeks, so instead of there being three months between Marvel movies, there’ll be five months between Marvel movies, and I think that we can all handle that.”

In 2020, marvel stopped production because of the crisis and it was later restarted between the time period. Finally, the movie completed its production in September 2021 and as for now, the editing and reshooting have clearly been done. Benedict Cumberbatch explained in the official interview that regular measures have been taken by the officials. Also, fans were worried about the release of the movie but as for now, there is nothing to worry about. 

To conclude everything, the release date is confirmed for now on but later it could be delayed if the global pandemic comes with another deadly wave. Doctor Strange 2: Who will be back?

Benedict Cumberbatch will be there as the main lead playing the role of Doctor Strange. We have already seen the actor in the teaser so there won’t be any doubt for the actor to not return back. The supremacy of Benedict Cumberbatch is already there in Marvel’s series. 

In another conference, it was revealed that the upcoming series will bring Wanda back in the picture. According to the trailer, we can see how Wanda jumped into the picture and Doctor Strange is early wanting to know about the Multiverse with her. This concludes that Scarlet Witch will be returned back as Wanda Maximoff. After the dramatic end of the WandaVision series, it looks like there are a lot of things that are needed to be put on.

The same interview also reveals also about the possible updates. In the same interview, the officials said regarding the plot. “After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Dr. Stephen Strange continues his research on the Time Stone. But an old friend-turned-enemy puts an end to his plans and causes Strange to unleash unspeakable evil.”
