Katharine McPhee is preparing to welcome her first child with husband David Foster.
And the American Idol season five runner-up has been serving some maternity chic fashion with her first pregnancy.
She hid her growing baby bump under a black ankle-length trench coat Tuesday, as she stepped out for coffee and some retail therapy with a friend in Beverly Hills.

The 36-year-old layered the jacket over a sheer black dress with floral embroidery down the skit, complemented with pink leather slip-on flats.
She accessorized with a printed face mask, a beige stetson wrapped in snakeskin and a crossbody black leather handbag on a gold chain with a matching tassel.
McPhee officially confirmed her pregnancy earlier this month on Instagram with a mirror selfie of her baby bump wrapped in a baby blue overcoat, which she wore off one shoulder.
She appeared to hint that she’s having a boy, not only with the color of the coat, but with a blue butterfly emoji framed by two blue heart emojis in the caption.

The House Bunny actress first hinted at her pregnancy in October, taking to her Instagram Story with a gift from Italian aperitif brand Aperol.
She said in the unboxing video: ‘I won’t be drinking this for a while. Wink, wink. But I’m so excited.’
It came just days after a source told People that she and Foster, 71, were expecting their first child together, after they tied the knot in London back in June of 2019.

Another insider told Us Weekly in August, that the couple was ‘definitely trying’ for a baby, and his daughters ‘fully expect [McPhee] to have a child and fully support it.’
Foster has five daughters from previous relationships, including Allison, 50, Amy, 47, Sara, 39, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34.
He and the mom-to-be later made a virtual appearance at the GO Campaign’s GO Gala in October, raising money for orphans and vulnerable children.
The music executive said: ‘We’re so happy and proud and honored to be a part of the GO Campaign. Anything to do with children has got my attention immediately, as well as my wife’s.’
