Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro are soon returning to Netflix with FUBAR Season 2 with new cast member Carrie-Anne Moss.

The first season of FUBAR was released in 2023 and consisted of eight episodes.

The logline for FUBAR Season 2 reads, “Luke Brunner is a veteran CIA operative who, up until recently, was on the verge of retirement. After his last mission in saving another operative — who just so happened to be his daughter – he’s back and face to face with new villains. This one is an old flame from Luke’s past who threatens to destroy the world … if she doesn’t destroy his life first.

Schwarzenegger stars as Luke in FUBAR, while Barbaro plays his daughter and fellow agent, Emma. In Season 2, Moss joins the cast of FUBAR as Greta, Luke’s old flame and adversary who is at the center of a nefarious plot that will plunge the U.S. — and ultimately, the world — into chaos.

Back for FUBAR Season 2 are Luke and Emma’s fellow CIA team members, Roo (Fortune Feimster), Barry (Milan Carter), Aldon (Travis Van Winkle) and Tina (Aparna), as well as Luke’s ex-wife Tally (Fabiana Udenio), Emma now ex-love Carter (Jay Baruchel).

FUBAR Season 2 returns with eight episodes beginning on Thursday at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT.

For viewers who don’t subscribe to Netflix, the streaming service offers an ad-based package for $7.99 per month where programming can be viewed on two supported devices.

Netflix also offers an ad-free package for $17.99 per month for two supported devices, as well as an ad-free package for $24.99 per month for four supported devices along with 4K Ultra HD programming.

How Did Critics Receive ‘FUBAR’ Season 1?

FUBAR is the creation of Reacher series creator Nick Santora, who also serves as the series showrunner and executive producer along with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Reviews for FUBAR Season 2 are still pending. Season 1 of FUBAR received a 50% “rotten” rating from Rotten Tomatoes critics based on 58 reviews.

The RT Critics Consensus for Season 1 of FUBAR reads, “With jokes that fall flat and a story that borrows liberally from star Arnold Schwarzenegger’s earlier career triumphs, FUBAR is just OK.”

Viewers, however, gave FUBAR Season 1 a 68% “fresh” score on RT’s Popcornmeter based on 500-plus verified user ratings.

All eight episodes of FUBAR Season 2 will begin streaming on Thursday at 3 a.m. ET/12 p.m. PT on Netflix.
