September marks the start of the fall TV season, a time when networks traditionally release numerous significant shows. Hulu will premiere Season 5 of “Only Murders in the Building,” centering on the investigation of the Arconia’s doorman, Lester (Teddy Coluca), with the first trio of episodes launching on September 9. The courtroom drama “Reasonable Doubt” is set to return on September 18, while Glenn Powell’s sports comedy “Chad Powers” will debut on September 30. Additionally, the Korean spy series “Tempest” will be available on Hulu starting September 10.
On Netflix, the latter half of the second season of “Wednesday” will debut on September 3, and Season 3 of “Alice in Borderland” will be released on September 25. Although Tubi lacks original content, it will make several beloved titles available in September, including “Mean Girls” and “Pan’s Labyrinth.” These are just a few of the films that viewers will be able to stream this September.
Plenty of film favorites will be coming to streaming in September
A plethora of fantastic films will be added to streaming services in September 2025, ranging from beloved family classics to essential fantasy films. Hulu subscribers can enjoy “Evil Dead Rise” and the iconic “Clueless,” while Netflix users will gain access to the “Shrek” series and both volumes of “The Amazing Spider-Man.” Netflix will also add timeless ’80s films “Stand By Me” and “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” to its collection.
Tubi is set to expand its film collection significantly this September. Some titles will make their debut on the platform, while others are returning favorites. The “Lake Placid” series will be added to Tubi, as will Guillermo del Toro’s acclaimed dark fantasy “Pan’s Labyrinth.” It’s a promising month for “Evil Dead” enthusiasts: alongside “Evil Dead Rise” reaching Hulu, Tubi will offer the 2013 remake of the original “Evil Dead,” known for its record-setting use of fake blood.
