Tyra Banks continues to embrace her passion for ice cream in her latest fashion endeavor.

In a striking cover shoot for King Kong magazine, the iconic model dons a vanilla ice cream-themed bustier that appears to melt at the edges, adding a playful yet dramatic flair to her look.

The unique top accentuates her figure as she confidently poses against the backdrop of a dramatic explosion.

Channeling early 2000s style, Tyra sports a head of platinum blonde hair, bold violet lipstick, and eye-catching pink ‘Remember’ sunglasses, capturing a nostalgic yet fresh aesthetic.

Her love for ice cream doesn’t stop there, as she showcases another dessert-inspired ensemble.

She stuns in a chic mini dress that mimics the texture of cone wafers, complemented by towering pink platform heels, completing her sweet sartorial homage.

Tyra’s ‘Smize’ catchphrase – smiling with your ears – also makes an appearance. 

Ice cream cone in hand and a veil in her hair, Tyra rides a toy car containing a ‘SMIZE’ license plate. 

The shoot received overwhelming positive response from netizens, but left a few scratching their head.  

‘I saw the entire spread and it’s just… who the f approved this s**t?’ one Redditor asked. 

‘What is the story here? I get its smize cream promotion but that’s about it,’ another wrote.

‘Honestly…. This is f**king bizarre & that makes it amazing. Plus that’s just a really bad ass pic,’ another said.

The legendary top model is feeling fiercer than ever nowadays. 

Accompanying the shoot was Tyra’s conversation with former ‘Club Kid’ Amanda Lepore, who asked the style icon when she felt ‘the fiercest’ during her modeling career.

‘You think it’s the wings or those swimsuit covers, right? Fierce isn’t just big feathers or glossy beach sexiness,’ Tyra said. ‘Fierce is me, in my 50s, posing better than I ever have in my life. 

‘The years of modeling, teaching, knowing my body and my angles — they’ve made me a master. And that, right there, looks and feels fiercer than fierce could ever be.’

Tyra rose to fame as one of the original supermodels but recently has pivoted into the food business, opening the ice cream store SMiZE & DREAM in Sydney earlier this year. 

Of course, the conversation turned towards her new sweet treat venture.

‘As a lover of ice cream, I want to ask — what flavor of SMiZE & DREAM would I be?’ Amanda asked Tyra.  

‘Hmmm… you’d be Almonda Amanda Swirl — a smoked almond ice cream because you are smoking hot, with a blonde butterscotch cream swirl running through it to celebrate your golden locks,’ Tyra replied. ‘And inside? Lip-shaped, chocolate-covered cherry candies, in honor of those iconic lips of yours. THAT, Miss Lepore, is how you create an ice cream flavor for an icon! It must be the creamy embodiment of them in a scoop! Yaaaaas! 

‘And if it’s a smash hit, the sequel flavor would be called The Amanda LeMORE — because we just couldn’t get enough of you!

‘Wow. I need to upgrade my own SMiZE flavor now. It’s called Tyra’s Favorite — salted vanilla cream with roasted pecans and house-made caramel butter. What the hell does that have to do with my personality or iconography?! Okay… so you, Amanda, you’ve got the waist. Me? I’m kinda known for the bustline — and what even is that in ice cream? Chestnut? Double-scoop marshmallows?

‘And then I’ve got these big green eyes — pistachio? Matcha? And the smize… oh lord, that would have to be little eye candies floating in the cream. Oh lord. Nope. Nope. I can’t. Too crazy.

She dished on all things ice cream and feeling fierce at 50 in a conversation with Amanda Lepore for the magazine

‘Or… should I? Okay, okay, I’m spiraling. I’ve got serious work to do on my own flavor and need to stop this interview right now and get back into my Flavor Studio. Oh gosh, Amanda… look what you’ve done to meeeee…’

In a series of videos shared on TikTok this week, Tyra announced that she had launched her ‘hot ice cream’ drink, called a Hot Mama, at the flagship store.

‘I feel like I’m going crazy. I don’t sleep, because these ideas just keep coming in my head, waking me up,’ Tyra explained in one clip.

‘And bam! This one came to me… hot ice cream. Silky ice cream that you can drink,’ she continued.

‘I’m not talking about a latte, or hot chocolate. I’m talking about hot ice cream. Innovation that took me over a year to get right’.

In a further video, Tyra showed off the drink in her Fairy Dough flavour, based on the Australian classic dessert, fairy bread.

It included a cup of warm, liquid ice cream, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.
