Udinese’s director Federico Balzaretti has condemned the racist abuse directed at AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

Maignan was the subject of racist chants during their recent clash at Udineses’ home on Saturday’s Serie A game.

However, Balzaretti has pledged the club’s commitment to identify the perpetrators and subsequently, take decisive action.

“This is a club that has worked for over 30 years to be the most ethnically diverse possible… if we find the person responsible, we will take action.”
