"A First For Me": Man Covered in Fur, Blood Arrested For Allegedly Having Sex With Dead Deer

In a disturbing incident on a Kentucky highway, a man was apprehended after being accused of engaging in sexual acts with a deceased deer. The unsettling event unfolded on the evening of February 21 when a concerned motorist dialed 911, reporting the sight near Phillip Stone Way in Central City. The Circuit Court Clerk provided the details of this incident to Oxygen.

According to the citation, a police officer arrived at the scene and located a man fitting the description provided by the caller. The suspect was seen walking with his pants around his knees, his hands covered in blood, and an unspecified fluid on his facial hair. Additionally, deer fur was noted on the lower part of his hoodie, and bloodstains were visible on the genital area of his boxers.

The suspect was identified as Allen Lynne Osborne. He was arrested about thirty minutes later, not far from where the alleged offense took place. Upon his detainment and subsequent search at the jail, authorities discovered blood and deer fur on his genital area, as noted in the citation.

Osborne faces serious charges of sexual crimes against animals, a felony according to court documents reviewed by Oxygen. It remains unclear whether he has entered a plea in response to these charges.

Reflecting on the unusual nature of the case, Central City Police Chief Jason Lindsey told Oxygen, “This is a first for me—and I’ve been here for 21 years.” Should Osborne be convicted, the potential penalties range from one to five years in prison.

“This is a first for me—and I’ve been here for 21 years,” Central City Police Chief Jason Lindsey told Oxygen, adding that if Osborne is convicted of the charge, he could face anywhere from one to five years in prison.

Though unclear, Lindsey believed the deer may have already been deceased during the alleged abuse, after it was hit by a vehicle in the road a few hours prior.

Osborne was booked into the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. It is unclear how Osborne plans to enter his plea.

A spokesperson from the Department of Public Advocacy told Oxygen that Osborne has not yet been assigned a defense attorney.
