Victoria Beckham made quite the fashion statement as she strolled into Balenciaga for a shopping spree in New York City on Thursday. The renowned fashion icon, now 51, turned heads with her striking ensemble, featuring a sleek black pencil skirt that accentuated her silhouette and sported a daring thigh-high slit.

Victoria paired the skirt with a matching black blouse, elegantly tucked in to further highlight her enviable figure. To add a touch of glamour, she slipped into towering sandals that elongated her frame and carried a chic handbag that complemented her all-black outfit.

Her look was polished off with her brunette locks styled loosely and a pair of bold, chunky sunglasses that added a touch of celebrity flair to her daytime ensemble.

Earlier in the day, the former Spice Girl and her husband, David Beckham, showcased their star power during a glamorous evening outing in the city. The couple, known for their impeccable style, truly embodied the essence of a power duo.

Styling her brunette tresses loose, Victoria completed her daytime shopping ensemble with a pair of chunky sunglasses.

The fashion designer and her footballer husband, 50, held hands as they left a dinner at the A-listers’ favourite spot Balthazar.

Victoria was as chic as ever in a pale pink midi dress from her own collection, teamed with red peep toe heels and over-sized shades.

David, who cut a suave figure in a double breasted suit and navy tie, gallantly kept a tight hold of his wife’s hand as she navigated the short walk to their car in her skyscraper heels. 

The couple looked closer than ever, days after fans were let in on their relationship in Victoria’s new Netflix docu-series which is currently streaming. 

They later hosted a party with Vogue at the Crosby Street Hotel to celebrate the Netflix series, with the likes of Anna Wintour, Helena Christensen and Nina Dobrev in attendance.

Two years on from David’s series, Beckham fans have been given a glimpse at the couple’s 25 year love story in Victoria’s documentary.

Stand out moments include Victoria making an outrageous claim about her husband’s manhood during the second episode.

In the scene, Victoria was seen meeting with her fashion team ahead of a big show as David, 50, and their youngest child Harper, 14, arrive.

After Victoria greets them, they then sit down where talk soon turns to the fact David owns several chickens at their Cotswolds home.

She said: ‘I had to tell David you should get some turkeys because you know he’s got lots of animals.’

One of her staffers is heard saying ‘you’re going to end up with a proper farm’ before another asks: ‘How big is the chicken house?’

Victoria replied: ‘It’s impressive, yeah it’s a proper chicken house, yeah.’

The fashion designer then cheekily exclaimed: ‘You should see his cock! It’s magnificent.’

At the close of the documentary Victoria breaks down in tears as she reflects on her need to build on her success and make her family proud. 

‘It makes me quite emotional because you’re always trying to prove yourself to people. What is stopping you from just saying “OK, I’ve achieved it?”‘ David asks her during a conversation in the garden of their Cotswolds home. 

‘Because I’ve spent so many years fighting and building that I feel now I have an opportunity and I don’t want to let that slip,’ Victoria says before her voice breaks. 

‘Who are you trying to prove it to?’ David queries. ‘Maybe to you, You know of course I feel bad about all that time when I had to ask you to help me out,’ she says in tears. 

The fashion designer last week premiered her highly-anticipated three part Netflix series, documenting her career highs and lows 

‘When I saw yours and the kids’ faces backstage after the last show it was not the first time but a real moment for me when I could see how proud of me you were.’   

‘It feels good, I’m not going to lie, I’m proud and I’m not ashamed to say I’m ambitious and I’ve still got a lot that I wanna do.’  

After the show’s premiere David thanked his wife for giving them their ‘beautiful’ son Brooklyn amid an ongoing feud that has estranged them from their eldest child. 

Last Wednesday, Victoria, 51, was surrounded by her nearest and dearest at the screening of her new docu-series before partying the night away in celebration.

However, Brooklyn was thousands of miles away in Beverly Hills with his wife, American actress Nicola Peltz.

Despite the ongoing tensions between Brooklyn and his family, David credited Victoria for giving him ‘four beautiful children’.
