Tracker enthusiasts, celebrate! The wait is finally over after two months of anticipation for Justin Hartley’s popular show on CBS. We now have a confirmed premiere date for Season 3!

Season 2 of Tracker concluded with Episode 20 on May 11, featuring Colter (played by Hartley) returning home for work. During this time, he visits his mother, Mary Dove Shaw (Wendy Crewson), and gains long-awaited insight into his father Ashton Shaw’s (Lee Tergesen) tragic death.

The eventful episode ended on quite the cliffhanger, but thankfully fans can now count down the days until Tracker makes its triumphant return.

Is Tracker On Tonight (7/20/25)?

Yes, technically Tracker is on tonight, Sunday, July 1, 2025. However, there won’t be a new episode airing. Instead, CBS is rerunning Season 2, Episode 12, “Memories,” from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET.

Will There Be A Tracker Season 3 On CBS?

You bet! On February 20, 2025, CBS renewed the popular survivalist drama for Season 3, which means Tracker is set to return with new episodes in the future. Back in February, CBS reported that Tracker hit over 18 million multiplatform viewers, a four percent increase from the previous year. And on May 7, 2025, CBS claimed another big win when Tracker took the top spot in the network’s 2024-2025 season, averaging 17.5 million broadcast and streaming viewers per episode, according to a 35-day Nielsen streaming report. Woah, baby!

When Will Tracker Return With New Episodes On CBS? Tracker Season 3 Premiere Date:

On Thursday, July 17, two months after Tracker‘s Season 2 finale aired, CBS released its fall 2025 schedule and finally revealed Tracker‘s Season 3 premiere date. (*drumroll*) Tracker is officially retuning with new episodes on Sunday, October 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET. So mark your calendars, set your alarms, and start the countdown!

If you’re looking to rewatch Tracker Season 1 and Season 2, you may be wondering if the series is streaming on Paramount+. The answer is yes!
